Looking at the game highlights on the OS, Pool's second is definitely Umerah's goal. BBC Sport wrong again.

Goal no.8 for big Josh, who has been a terrific signing from non-league.

Definitely an own goal. I had a good view of it from the Town End and it came off the defender. Everyone near us said so too. Still been a good signing though but I think he plays much better when we have 2 upfront.

Fair enough. Umerah definitely gets a touch on it. It's hard to tell from behind the action whether it would have gone in anyway if it hadn't hit Maher, but he's 'claimed' it so I guess not.

Give over ! The ball clearly comes off their defender. In real time, I thought Ferguson had scored direct from the cross !

The only thing that matters is the amassing of enough points. How it's done comes second to that.

if the shot was on target and hits a defender by accident then surely he should be awarded the goal. next thing keepers will be credited with OG if they get a hand to a shot but it goes in.
