What purpose does this serve? In not way is it elected or democratic. I do support a second chamber for scrutiny but surely substantial reform is needed.

Here is a list of them if you want to lose 30 minutes of your life.https://members.parliament.uk/members/Lords

It hardly inspired me apart from a couple.

There is no need for it, there is no need for a second assembly in any form.
We elect MP’s of various Party’s let theirs be the final decision, we voted for them, the Lords are an irrelevance.

That's torn it. The secret is out. We were asked to nominate a member of the Bunker to grace the House of Lords. We nominated you Snowy.

Will that make Ratboy a pedigree instead of a common working terrier, if not I’ll have to decline my elevation to the Toffs….. on second thoughts, nah, I’d have to live in that there London…..I could manage the falling asleep in the chamber though and they’ve probably got a decent canteen….Ooops…. Dining facility, but then it’ll all be poncey scran…. On reflection I shall remain an humble commoner.
