Verill's no more. Green Un' no more. Morell's no more. Hartlepool no more. Come on Keef. A must win at Harrogate Flower Show Saturday (the second year running) and persuade Luke Armstrong to come back. Poolies some more.

With the rise in energy prices loads of fish and chip shops will go out of business unless they their prices substantially, will people be prepared to pay them ?
If Putin carries on the way he is going we could all end up ‘fried’ !

Verrills have put the prices up recently. A half lot was £3.80 during covid then went to £4.20 then £4.60 and now its £5.20.
But its the best for me and £ wont put me off.

thats still 1.60 cheaper than they,d charge me for a similar sized portion i could get from the chippy at the end of the road. thats still busy but selling everything but fish where pies, sausages and the like seem peoples preferred options. goodness knows how much they are charging in the SE or tourist areas for them.
