I have deleted your post regarding the chairman.
If you want an explanation PM me and I'll gladly tell you but I suspect you know the reason in your heart of hearts.

I don't ban people, not my job.

If you don't wish to take part then that is your choice.

Nothing personal against me you say after calling me a freak who is holding the club back. I only wish I had that much influence.
Good luck.
When you've had a chance to reflect you can always make a return but that's up to you.

you can have all the opinions you want, but remember there is a popular youtuber, alex bellfield, now serving 5 and a half years inside for having his but going about it the wrong way. not saying you did go OTT as i read your piece but its a warning to anyone who may overstep the mark in the future.

Derwent, I do not know or care what KPG wrote, and I dare say deserved his warning so to speak but there are others who have been offensive to both managers and players and other bunkerites who should be warned to tone it down.

So unlike you, I won’t have a dicky fit, Ill just totally ignore your ‘posts’ in future.

You are probably right but you missed out the chairman of the club. Is that because you haven't exactly been friendly towards him.
On the one hand I am being called a power freak, associated with North Korea. and on the other you are accusing me of not being strict enough.
I am continuously looking at the bigger picture with regard to the chairman. He is all we've got until someone else comes along to takes us further. If we drive him out then what. We can readily replace managers, players etc. but .........
The irony is there are people on here who are accusing him of taking us back to the dreaded darkness, and yet they themselves could be accused of driving him away which could produce an even worse scenario.
Then who is responsible for killing the club.
Think about it.
I can be as strict as the next man but I'd rather members take the responsibility of controlling themselves as the norm. You all know what is right and what isn't.

As a matter of interest no one has come crying to me. You have not been on this forum very long but seem to be hell bent on using this forum as a battleground to joust with Covus, who you seem to think is one and the same with poolie 1, over the proceeds of a charity event. If you can prove that they are one and the same please PM me with the evidence and I will sort it.

No way could fan run darlo be on similar terms to big spending pools. Just not having it. If we can't financially compete in the football league how on earth will darlo manage the conference? Just not happening. Oh hang on a sec best check the league tables.

on a serious note, if there is any ground restriction in the national league now would the meadows be up to the requited standards. i have run the line in the jewsons eastern league at similar places.

We need more seats and a bigger capacity. I doubt we will be good enough to go up this season anyway, getting in the playoffs will please most of the fans.
As for Beck, way too good for this level. You can tell hes played at league level. However he didn't really score many for a Harrogate team on the up once they got into the league so whether he would solve your problems is questionable.

Maybe it’s time to start off the field planning, you never know. Obviously it’s down to finances, but you have to start planning for certain scenario’s regardless.
Best of luck.

think he had a few injury problems with them and ended up being a regular sub without getting many minutes on the pitch. injury problems would tick one of pools boxes though.

Not sure why a fan run club couldn’t compete, it seemed to work perfectly well for Wycombe.. oh and Bayern Munich and every other German top club bar one. Oh, Barcelona too.

How do the fans pay for it…..? Standing orders, direct debit?
If it were the case, there’d be accounts opening and closing like a swing door on the basis of everything from results to the number of bulbs in the floodlights here at outrage central.

Kev, I’m never embarrassed by pre season optimism, I get it every year without fail……but I see your point.
In fact my optimism was dashed most years then come to think of it…. I think I’ll… :animals-dogrun:

Kev u are one of only a few who dare to speak your mind regarding your football club. It is indeed very very scary that some on here appear to stopfree speech. Total respect to you Kevin and never ever allow anyone anywhere to stop your right to have an opinion.

There was belittling a plenty of people’s posts during pre-season that ever dared question the asset stripping, bizarre recruitment policy, distinct lack of striking options, the (lack of) League 2 experience and yes - the lack of a SQUAD photo during the few months of prep. The bookies and journos who had us rock bottom also knew nothing…

Now is the time to get behind them, although even if we scrape to Jan somehow in touch of the pack, do we think one transfer window can fix this?

Singh has to take a lot of the blame for this shambles but he provided a budget and Hartley wasted it. Instead of using some of it on 7 Scottish players, he could have brought in 3 decent players who know the league. You didn’t need to be a genius to know how crap the leagues are below the SPL.

We know we missed out on Scott Banks and a number of others early doors in the transfer window as our much publicised play off budget came into action. NDjoli signature was one in particular that struck of PANIC.

We also had our deadline day… ‘Get the Pizzas in!’ , followed by ‘we’ve missed out on a few’, ‘possibly 1 maybe 2’ before our deadline day consisted of Odour at the final minute… we’d missed out on Quigley to Rochdale and allegedly Rooney to Oldham.

We had been linked with decent players with some L2 pedigree who I imagine the head of recruitment had lined up… but couldn’t get a deal done.

Whilst Hartley will have played his part in Tumilty, Murray, Hastie and likely Patterson, the squad itself is still low on numbers, presumably from missed targets throughout the period. All of Bogle, Byrne, Molyneux would improve our team - who, I believe we had a better chance of keeping than Odusina.

The revolving door of players and staff over the past 18 months surely has to be cause for concern. Why can nobody see any potential whatsoever in joining us and why are talented staff so quick to leave at the first chance?

Who recommended Hartley in the first place…?
Water under the bridge now, but I’d like to know.

Think it’s time to bury the hatchet over what’s went on amongst us, because there’s bigger things to worry about now and I see no light at the end of the tunnel.
We’re left with two options, a miracle and waking up to find out it was just a nightmare and it’s the day after the play off final.

Seriously though, someone must have made the recommendation.
