Pools must have the one of largest back room staff set up in the league, is that where all the money is going from last years cup runs paying their salaries ?

Depends how much income Pools are bringing in from sponsorships etc. They do seem to to be doing well on that side of things. A bottom of the table team and falling gates will soon undermine progress with commercial activity. It's another pressure on Hartley and Young to deliver results on the football field.

A member of the office staff leaves, for whatever reason, I doubt it’s caused by the teams form or lack of it.

Yes I am moaning, we appear to have a multitude of admin staff at Pools including a Director of Recruitment who doesn’t have a job now as the transfer window is closed.

It’s getting a bit silly when the office staff are in the firing line…or did Hartley sign them from the ‘Invercockaleeky Admin Services’. ….?

The post was not intended to put the office staff in the firing in line, it was highlighting why a lower league club like Pools required so many admin staff.

I had a look on the official site unfortunately it’s not up to date which is not unusual, Sweeney still listed as a First Team Coach.

About 8, mainly women, in finance, retail, ticketing, bars, kiosks and reception. Not in any way excessive for a business the size of HUFC. Of course, the gold plated taps are another matter...

We might have half a chance if he still was, yes I did see the game yesterday.
Not going to comment on it, apart from seeing is believing.

Office Admin is the bedrock on which all football clubs are built. Can you imagine if the Office Admin had lost Peps or Klopps job application form? They risk their health and wellbeing every day from anything from paper cuts to getting their arses burnt whilst trying to photograph it.
Strikers and centre halfs are only the icing on the cake.........we are in league 2 ffs.
I hope that if the quality of the applicants are good, Raj takes on two of these essential key workers.

Can someone explain to why anyone would object to employing an office worker?
Has the paranoia amongst the pitchfork and burning torch (Vic Park coven) reached a new low?

The same people have been complaining for years that the club is shambolically run - ticket office, bars and catering, club shop, fiddling on the turnstiles - you name it, people have had a pop, with good reason. Who knew it would add substantially to the off-the-field wage bill to sort those problems out?

It's that old show business saying. 'You can please some of the people some of the time - unless you're in Hartlepool.'

I just don’t understand the constant contradictions from some people. It’s as though we alone are the only club with problems on the pitch and whatever action is taken is always the wrong action.
No matter what happens, there’s someone who always knew it would.

best to moan to the league about the office job vacancy. they,ll end up having a transfer window for office staff if you moan hard enough. anyway if they are good on the tippy tappy they could help out our recruitment bloke if they have a few minutes to spare and end up as recritment assistant and head of admin for the same money.
