murray is a strange one--I hope he is just recovering from injury still because his mobility seems non-existent, I also think and its true for a few of them the confidence is shot from some of the games they have played
If we are clutching at straws I think we have played on average more of the better teams in the division so far, but I do agree I expect Colchester to be down among the shite so if we lose to them not sure where we go.

After that performance I would be surprised if Hartley left anyone out except possibly Crawford, who never made an impact on the game. Surely he will stick with the same formation as well, I couldn’t understand him switching to a back four away to the league leaders.

Niang, Menayese, Featherstone and Killip stood out, the latter making half a dozen good saves, one of them top class. Ndjoli played well also, in the right place at the right time for his goals, and worked hard. More of the same in the league please.

Ferguson For Patterson
Cooke (if fit) for Crawford
Sylla as emergency CB for Murray
….

Agree with Cooke for Crawford and would probably go with Ferguson over Paterson if only for his experience, but would probably stick with Murray. I agree he has been exposed against the better sides but hopefully won’t get tested as much against Colchester plus if he sticks with three centre backs this week he should have more support around him.

talking to my lad last night on the usual topics football and cars. he has seen colchester this season where stockport had their only league win against. said they were crap and not the biggest team we will come up against but have a few tricky type of player. i,d take a point now as we do not know unlike us if they have brought some in to improve,

I’d take a point as well to be honest, but have hopes for three. We fall for it every time when we put in a decent performance and think we have turned a corner, but here’s hoping…
