I am trying to think of a reason to be optimistic about this match but I am struggling. I think the O's will win at a canter. 3-0.

Dreading the game, no matter the result the keyboard warriors will be out in force. One quote last week on FB was, sack the Scottish tramp and send him back over the border’ which I thought was shocking. I don’t expect Pools to win against the top of the league team but a draw would be very decent,

Hopeing for a win as usual.
But probably anutha no win game to extend it to 15 league games without a win.
So 12 wins required from last 40.

would a scruffy pools win against the run of play do the side good or just paper over the cracks and an excuse for no more recruitment till january. going for a 2 nil defeat with one shot on target against their 12.

If last seasons cup runs generated this seasons Dreamteam I dread to think what next seasons team will be like.
Need the 2 lowest rank teams in FA Cup r1 n r2 then Man Utd away r3 for the January Sales

Soft spot for O's and I think they will be 3 up by half time and just add 1 further goal before the end.

Not a pleasant journey home!

Anyone work out what’s going on with starting 11?
Can only assume Cooke and sylla are injured ?
But starting the chuckle brothers in a back 4 and dropping menayese seems bizarre to put it mildly.
I assume Shelton and featherstone in midfield and ndoji behind umerah and hopefully getting closer to him….fingers crossed this is the turning point

Looks like shit or bust to me. There could be goals in that line up but defence looks shaky.

Going from 3 to 2 at middle of back and dropping your most athletic central defender is interesting..

Here we go then. I'm on the live stream (based in Croatia), it makes life as a lower league footy fan so much more inclusive. Maybe some of you folks are using a VPN.

Can't see Hartley seeing out September the way it's going. I'm not sure this team could handle the conference North.

Thing is Umerah is an upgrade, he’s just surrounded by utter sh1t.

We’ve got the lucky dip lineups already and we’re six games in. Who would have thought a complete rebuild would deliver such a dire start? Unless they pull it together they are gonna get drilled here.

We seem to be believing our own press coverage. Piddling about about in the middle and then we look like idiots. 2-1 but this is far from over.

Pools look like a side who don't know each other, we look like a team who do but don't like each other. Our centre backs think they can play like Beckenbauer - they can't and it may cost us.

Lacey and Murray having absolute shockers. Fergie not far behind them. In all, a pretty dire first 45 despite a well taken goal from McDonald. Hastie and Feaths going at each other as the players had a drinks break. Hartley stood like a statue.

The foul was outside the box for the penalty so we got unlucky with that. Lacey definitely fouled their man in the box so you’d say it’s honours even on refereeing decisions.

Pools players sent out early.

Orient presenter says ‘well Paul Hartley might’ve fired them up and sent them out for the second half?’ Pundit goes ‘look at them, do they look fired up…’

5 mins later. 3-1.
