Here is my prediction.

The new PM will throw everything to support households with energy cost increases once in post.
Knowing the shit is really going to hit the fan in winter/spring he/she will go for a snap election in October 2022.
I've got £1 riding on it so it must be a cert.
You heard it here first!

more chance of Hartley getting Manager of the Month in October than there is a general election!

Mrs O'Leary (better known as Liz Truss) is crazy enough to call a general election in October but boy oh boy will the Conservatives get a stuffing.

The problem, of course, is when you look in the mirror, looking over your shoulder is the image of SKS but I suppose the Red lot will be marginally better than the Blue lot.

Will moving to Shetland under Mrs Krankie be any better?

I have said this many times, leave the Conservatives in power to sort the mess out they created, if Labour did win they would get 1 term and nothing would change.

its a frightening prospect having another 5 years of tory rule until you look at the alternative. there really is sod all between a left wing tory party and a right wing labour one apart from empty promises of a better country.

that would be better as there are plenty of small boats up there. you can destroy all your ID and get to the mainland and claim asylum to avoid the cost of gas, electricity and food this winter.

They have got to go early to stand a chance otherwise the energy crisis, strikes, inflation and tory infighting will only get worse. The tories will be backed up to the end of the term which is December 2024. Can see things getting any better by then.
What really has convinced me of this is that Jill Mortimer has been putting herself around in the town so something is going on.

Of course the Tories might want a GE but why, they have a huge majority in Parliament but if they lose the big mess they have created in the last 10 years would be past on to ever won the GE. if they lost which is possibly what they want.

Who ever won would on the backfoot from day one and I can see Johnson sitting sniggering in Parliament. After 5 years the Tories would sweep to victory saying we will sort everything out.
