It's a bit of a joke how we are just continuing to plod on with a keeper that just has never really cut it. What a difference to a poor team if we had a half decent keeper.

Is Killip a hypnotist because what I don’t see is a commanding keeper to fill me with confidence. He seems detached from his defence like he’s a free lance keeper playing another altogether different game out of sync with reality.
We keep being told he’s gonna blossom into a proper keeper but this process has a longer gestation period than an elephant’s pregnancy.

According to another report Pools are supposed to be trying to re-sign Joe White from Newcastle for another loan spell.

Can't really see that happening - they were keen for Cass to go to another club to broaden his horizons when Challinor tried to re-sign him on loan.

White is a talented player but he faded badly when Pools lost their way at the end of last season. Would he come back for more of the same?

If we want to stay in the football league this year we surely need to get away from signing kids that go missing for chunks of the season.

This might be a novelty to raj and co but maybe just maybe we sign a bit of proven quality for once and see where that takes us

He had a couple of touches, but that’s all, mostly anonymous …..a pointless signing for me.

Killip is a good shot stopper for this level but less good with crosses......sadly we have brought in 2 defenders who seem lightweight in Murray and Lacey, not a good combination !

killip may be a good shot stopper but no better in this as other keepers are in league 2. he will probebly remain at that standard but has shown do improvement in other areas of his game. unlike others we have had and what opposition teams had i cannot remember a single game pools had nicked 3 points due to his out of this world performance in the nets. pity though that he isn,t pools only problem this season and actually can be seen as less of a problem after games come and go.

Used the cash to instead paint the breezeblocks on the Clarence Road side of ground.
Does look really smart like.

As far as the breeze block painting and other ground improvements these were done by the ground sponsors as they did not want their company name being associated with the state the ground had been allowed to get into.

And a lot of the work mostly painting including removing the old seats from the Millhouse Stand was done by volunteers.
