Oh you Mean the Steelworks social club Mob, Dwayne and the rest of the gang who are doing the bike ride and splitting the donation between Gemma Lee and the HOOC.

Why don’t you call in to the steelies and ask them why they are donating half the bike ride fund to Hooc you may get a pleasant answer….

How can they pass the buck when The bike ride has nothing to do with HOOC! show me a post where it says Hooc have anything to do with the bike ride and decide where the sponsor money goes…..

Well the literature for the event doesn’t say the steelies are organising it, it’s just says they have a fun day on there and people are welcome back after the ride. Will HOOC be giving their half to the much more worthy cause?

But you could email the Club and ask what HOOC have done for them, then email all the local Football clubs and ask them you might be surprised when people tell you the truth rather than made up stuff you want to believe ….

I won’t worry about it at all, you have pretty much confirmed that HOOC are taking half the proceeds from a charity event. If they were planning on giving it to Gemma Lee’s fund you’d have just said

You can continue to line the chairman’s pockets without any questions being asked, it’s no skin off my nose, have a good evening

You’d have to ask the Steelies them questions just pop in and ask them why it’s not obvious that it’s the steelies doing the fundraising and why do they think it’s good to donate half the proceeds to HOOC a community interest nonprofit making company…..

I expect this thread to be resuscitated in a years time again just to stir the pot.
