If people called black people on message boards the same way they all Pools recent signings from north of the border it would be classed as racism. What is it about Pools fans 2 games into the season and every signing from north of the border is criticised ?

Was there that much criticism after Saturday? Only two of Hartley's Scottish signings played against Wimbledon - three if you count Niang (Sena) but he's from Senegal. Hastie is only a couple of goals away from becoming a massive fans' favourite. Murray is the left-footed central defender Pools needed all last season. Both had good games, especially in the second half.

Niang struggled and Pools had more attacking threat after he was subbed by Crawford. Think Niang might well get another chance on Wednesday night, along with Paterson, Tumilty and Hamilton.

People have regularly called or criticised Raj on here but nobody has been called racist for doing so.
What about people who call fellow posters "mummies boys arseholes" how would that be categorised.
Every boy from every background only has one Mam and most of those Mams worship their boys and, in the main, that worship is reciprocal. Why would anybody want to describe that relationship as the behaviour of an arsehole.
Could that sort of name calling in actual fact be described as childish garbage ????
Intriguing indeed.

We’ll documented by who? …You?… and why?

Define a ….’mummies arsehole boy’ …. for us, as you seem to know the meaning, but at first glance it sounds very disturbing phrase to post on a public forum.
I don’t expect you are capable of actually giving one.

Dunno about 'arsehole boy' but this story about grumpy Van Morrison made me laugh. At the end of a show in a theatre he comes off stage pouring with sweat. The stage lights are down, house lights down, punters screaming for an encore. The little safety lights in the wings of the stage are still on. Most people can't see what's happening there but a few in the front row can. As soon as he thinks he's out of sight Van drops his kecks, grabs a towel and gives his sweaty nether regions a good wipe front and back. Then drops the towel for someone else to pick up and wanders off!

Not exactly 'Brown Eyed Girl' more 'Cakky Eye Boy'

I didn’t think Niang had a bad game, he certainly got through some work and must have clocked up a few miles in the stats. Given the fact that he can also play in defence he looks a promising signing. Shelton is going to find it tough getting in the side this season.

Not saying he's a bad signing. It was only one game. I'm glad Hartley realised that he needed to bring on a more attack-minded player to give Pools a chance of winning the game rather than just drawing. The initial formation showed Wimbledon too much respect - understandable I suppose on the back of a 4-0 loss!

Mr Hogans, where do you stand with the idea that introducing Hamilton alongside Umerah might have brought the win on Sat?

To be honest I haven't seen enough of Hamilton yet to know how he plays. A goalscoring No.10 to feed off Umerah's lay offs would be great. The nearest to that type of player we've had recently was Matty Daly on loan last season.

Back to the original question…….. what is a ‘mummy’s arsehole boy’, that you referred to ?

You're confusing me with The Legend of Rinkender. It was him who coined that expression. I only referred to it in a post - the same as you and Mr.D.
