I read now that Sweeney was missing from photo and Walsall because he is now in charge of youths. Is that a demotion? I thought we had just employed an Acadamy manager and there is also McGukin. Why not just make Sweeney in charge is this going to be a case of ‘too many cooks’

What exactly is the full academy. What does he do when the coaches are coaching.

If it’s proper Academy, there’s a lot more to it than just the basic coaching.

I think that was the case with Lee and Nelson as well, Challinor appeared to involve Sweeney.

possibly he is lucky to still be employed at the club after all the managerial changes there has been since he first started. many come in with their own tea lady never mind a full backroom staff.

Hes certainly done well as an employee of HUFC.

Just maybe, Sweeney is happy doing what he’s doing.

Being manager seems to be a short term job lately.
