How come they come out years later and complain, rather than at the time. Ones not played since 2015 and the other even longer.

Now why do they wait until, their career’s over, let me guess.
It’s as though they’re going through the sports, one at a time, always with the same outcome, everyone resigns and a new sanitised body takes over.

Not santized "diverse". Once everything is "diverse" the world will be sooooooo much better.

Imagine an English / Scottish person playing the race card in their Country(s).
Get absolutely carved up or a life jail sentence.

Sorry, they have to ‘sanitise’ the organisation with bleach to kill all the ‘racists’ off, leave overnight and flush them away.
Then they can be as diverse as they like, rainbows after the storm, unicorns and magic dust will appear and happiness will reign…..in their world.

or just plain boring. just like the diversity word actually is. what does it really mean anyway and it will end up that some will have an extra string to their bow that the vast majority do not have. it will end up with a token this or that being included everywhere just to shut a few up.

"Diversity" just means getting rid of white blokes.

Caber Tossing

Throwing the hammer

Curling

surely they should ban the use of Fine Leg for those who unfortunetly through accidents have not got one and the bigger percentage who should always cover theirs up may be offended. Silly point, silly mid on and off to be banned for the thick owes, and surely bowling a maiden over neds a change for something more diverse. do not get me started by the so called white ball format of the game.

You could try ignoring the political stuff and stick to the threads about football, like the Sunderland game last night...

Oh, hang on, Herr Flick has closed that one down

Yep it is a case of compelled speech. All the commentators must use the word "batter" regardless of the gender they are talking about. I have yet to hear an explanation as to why this is being enforced after nearly two hundred years of tradition. When commentating on the women's game use "batter" or batswoman and if it is a man's game batsman. Why is this now not acceptable? Another case of sport being used to push a social agenda. I wonder who the MCC consulted about this use of forced language? I bet it wasn't the rank and file club cricketer or spectator. I think it is ferking outrageous.

I note by the number of posts you are a frequent and respected contributor to this board so I can see why you feel you have the right to pop up and make judgement. I am sure most of us would be disappointed if in the light of the board content you felt unable to share your lofty thoughts with us.

It appears they’re trying to morph sports into one huge mass regardless of gender..
I heard a comment in passing on the radio last night about one of the female England players referring to her as one of the finest centre backs in world football, but surely it should have said ‘women’s football’….? I suspect it’s one of those intended comments that will proliferate in future to blur the gap between the two two teams.

Yes, I think you are right. I presume you are aware of the shit storm because John McEnroe challenged the assertion that Venus Williams was the best tennis player in the world by pointing out she wouldn't be in the top 1000 if she competed with men. He was asked to apologize on live television . but refused. Later, even Venus Williams was quite happy to admit that McEnroe was right.

of course he was right. at international swimming and athletic events womens records are slower than mens and they realise this when starting out. thats what the present sex change debate is all about by banning from womens sport anyone who was previously a male. reporters and the MSM will eventually have their heads spinning so much by attempting to push female sports and the trans issues at the same time their brains will explode.

It all boils down to not comparing like with like, they want you to classify both as equal, and the two games patently are not equal.
There’s an awful lot of ‘let’s pretend’ going on as reality, it’s like the ‘King’s New Clothes’ we need an innocent to shout out the obvious.

Any idea what the first film/ play Billy Connolly appeared in set in Glasgow with the classic line warning a group off about saving up their Embassy coupons to buy a sniper rifle….?
