yes, normal service to be resumed. win at the vic and lose at their place. think i have only seen pools win twice there and them beating us at home once.

Saw Pools win at Edgely park with Kevin Poole in goal giving one of the best goal keeping performances ever in our promotion year.

Forgotten what year it was but went one miserable Friday night to Edgeley Park and it pissed down all night. Them 6 Pools 0 with most of the goals going in where we were. Highlight of the night was taking the piss out of a bobby who for some reason wore a white coat and getting on a warm bus home to thaw out.

if i,m right pools lost two seasons on the bounce by that score. at least pools gave em a couple of hammerings at the vic in the same decade. we have played them as much as anyone else over the years with both sides having lousy away records against each other.

Back in 70s I recall watching Pools hammer Stockport 5-0 and 3-0. Probably not consecutive seasons. My memory is slightly vague.

you are correct sir. always remember the 5 nil night match as it was the only time i was completely pissed at a game. cost me a days work as my cousin would not let me drive back till about 6 at night the next day.

I remember ( think ) Pools beating Stockport 5-0 with Paul Baker scoring an overhead kick from miles out.
