Does anyone on here remember what happened to that tall lad who wound up the Town End a few years back with the racist claims? What happened to him? And, what happened to Dover FC? Not gloating just interested.

Yes RichtHpool I think you are right. Remember how he caused such a stir and I thought no darker skinned player would be tempted to sign for Pools. Thankfully that hasn't happened. Still think we should have signed the Wycombe Beast. Imagine him and Bob Newton up front?

We couldn't have afforded the food bill, or the bar bill.

The Beast has he's own sports ware
setup, think he's trying to get on . I am a celebrity... or something similar...

Effiong ended up down here at Woking. He got a few goals over the past couple of seasons and was generally looked upon as being an effective player. He's now managed to pee the locals off by signing for arch-rivals Aldershot.

Woking have brought in Paddy Amond for maybe his final pay-day contract. So that's worked out alright then

he is a typical non league player who seem to move clubs every season or two and finishing their careers with more than 10 clubs to their name. if as a non league fan you rate a certain player the law of averages say he,ll be at your club one day.

When he first made his debut for Pools I thought the mascot hadn’t left the pitch.
