A top bulb manufacturer ‘ The Kamikaze Lethal Toy and Strimmer Co’ declined to comment.

It was a hobby of mine counting the number of bulbs out.
You have to get your kicks somehow.

All season ticket holders will be called into the Club individually to have a solar panel and mini wind turbine nailed to their heads and a Jack point next to their seat to plug the cable into so collectively you can all power the floodlights with green energy. It’s the future.

I remember as lad during half time in the autumn the flood lights would be switched on pylon by pylon and as each illuminated their was a cheer. I guess all the Poolies were still getting used to the novelty of actually having them. I am guessing no one cheers these days.

Can think of a few night matched where there'd have been a big cheer if the lights had gone out.

can think of a few daytime matches where the highlight was getting through the lights next to the old co-op building without my regular stop there.
