Looking forward to mr Autumn booster.
Brutal winter on the way as covid n late gas/leccy grants wipe out the older generation.

His charisma is on par with Linekers so should slot in ok although he might have competition from some of the women commentators

Quite a scare story that. I had to look it up, and of course it's the bigot's bible, the Daily Mail, who are saying that Southgate 'may' decide to leave unvaccinated players at home.

Only 'may' and to be fair it's a tricky one:
"Qatar continues to require people to quarantine on entering the country, if they've not been vaccinated and that could mean them missing five days of training.

The Three Lions squad is only due to arrive in the host country six days before the first day of the tournament, with the Premier League only pausing two days before that.

With the Three Lions playing on the opening day, it means that those players would have had barely any time to train with their teammates, if at all.

That would lead Southgate to having to choose between a potentially weakened line up against Iran or having those players remain at home.

FIFA are said to be lobbying Qatar to loosen their Covid regulations..."

Or, England players who for some stupid reason aren't fully vaccinated could stop being soft lads and get jabbed like the rest of us... They've got 3 months to make their minds up.

What’s to stop the players who are not jabbed to be isolated and train together, it’s not pre season, they have been training and playing with their own clubs so won’t be unfit ?

If you are unvaccinated, apparently you have to go into quarantine for five days.
Why not send the unvaccinated players out earlier to solve that problem….?

The obvious Snowy isn't in the thinking of the suits at the F.A. but is it also an excuse for England when they fail
miserably

I find it highly irresponsible people not getting vaccinated and many may disagree with me for a variety of reasons.
So who are they? As public figures they need to stand up and be counted and give an explanation and not hide away.

I agree with you, what others think is their business and nowt to do with me, but I’m one of those people who tend to favour the scientific approach.
Thing is there’s Clubs from the Premiership touring the States who’ve had to leave players behind so there’s repercussions around the world.
But it’s their career’s they’re limiting.

TBH Snowy it was printed in the Daily Mail, yes great idea to send them out before hand, why didn’t they think of that ?

Some might not be interested playing in the World Cup, they prefer the European competitors.Qatar a hell hole of a place where temperatures are similar to today in the U.K. a good excuse for refusing to travel.
I am up for my number 4 vaccination tomorrow, they are now saying anyone over 50 should be having a 4th one.

AS stated in the article I put up: "The Three Lions squad is only due to arrive in the host country six days before the first day of the tournament, with the Premier League only pausing two days before that."

There's no way the PL clubs would release their players while there are fixtures still to play just so they can go into quarantine early in Qatar - and why should they, the clubs pay these players astronomical wages!

If it's really so important to the players to wear the 3 Lions in a World Cup, those that haven't done so already should stop fannying about and get vaccinated.

To be fair, it’s skin off my nose what they do in all honesty, they’re all loaded anyway.

Getting vaccinated would solve the problem overnight if they’re serious about playing for England because without the vaccination their career is on hold.

its the WORLD cup so i imagine its not just england players who may have the present problem in that country. there is so much money involved so the cynic in me thinks there may be more cash flying around and the old blind eye will be put into force. its not the venue of many countries choice by a long way and they must know it.
