It was mooted to be an art gallery about 5 years ago but nothing happened.

As a kid aged 5 (and I can’t believe it now) we’d play out with the big kids and go down to the mothball fleet in the docks and get chased, terrifying at 5, but remember vividly the site getting built on but it was I’m told a communal air raid shelter during the war as Adolf’s Luftwaffe closed their account with the old Yorkshire Bank building courtesy of a Dornier 17 bomb load.
