Rayner comes across as an bombastic gobshite. Andy Burnham has most activity going on in his Thunderbird puppet eyebrows not his head, leave him to play with his trams in Manchester.

She’s always got her part time job down the docks to fall back on.

[quote="Mr Irrelevant"]Is that the same Sunak who was fined at the same time as Boris and who, along with his wife avoids tax through offshore accounts?

Sunak is only avoiding paying tax through a legal loophole. one of many that should have been closed to everyone. doubt it will ever happen as all MP,s live in a rich mans world where they will all be avoiding paying as much tax as possible. us poor slaves have no chance but to pay, pay, pay.

Mrs sunak's scam is a loop hole whereby you pay offshore taxes (non) if you intend to one day go and live in another country. This is while she's living in effing downing Street.
How set up is that for :angry-screaming: abuse??

No idea how she gets away with it, before if you lived 90 days or less you weren’t liable for income tax, the rules were then changed where as if you owned property in the U.K. irrespective of the number days you lived in the U.K. you were liable for income tax.

Does she have dual nationality? I can’t see Sunak getting the job, his copybook is well blotted.

she has got away with it because she has nothing to get away with as she has worked inside the present laws. Its a change in the laws thats needed and not a witch hunt on her or others acting the same. We all know these loopholes will never change as the law makers look after their own first. Would not believe any party either who promised to alter tax laws either as both have had a chance to do it and we have the same shit show as ever. It boils my piss but i,m afraid we will all have to live with it.

Rayner must really get up the nose of the Tory front benchers. An ordinary person doing a less than ordinary job from a disadvantaged background. How dare she.
Oh and by the way i literally bumped into her at Durham yesterday and had a brief chat.
Shes not in for the money unlike the Honorable Members Opposite.

if she reigned in her passion a bit she may do her job better and become more popular. heard she is very hard working in her constituancy which must be a good thing in her favour. can we say the same thing about our mp,s no matter where we live.

It costs £158k (on average) for an MP per year. Thats £790,000 over a 5 year term.
I would question if my MP Jill Mortimer is worth it. Some will be and other wont.
The pensions stonking.

Ah, no. They won’t be pissed/bladdered, it’ll be a ‘working lunch’ verified by the Kierstone Cops and everything will be grandy and dandy…….and I’m an Admiral in the North Korean Navy.

Our next door neighbour has acquired two cats, we have large gardens and her two feline babies decided to sunbathe on the grass at the bottom of the garden. She later told the wife she panicked when I pulled up with Ratboy from the beach as she knew he’d go into the garden …. As usual he barrelled out, spotted them and went into stalking mode, me unawares and next door neighbour getting the vapours…… Armageddon follows as the cats wake at the last minute….. the cats trying to leap onto the shed roof and sliding down, a scene from Tom and Jerry with ‘Spike’ snapping away…. But the cats, turned on each other in the hope of survival….I appear, call him to heel and like a switch thrown peace reigns. The cats looked embarrassed, bit like Rayner and Kier, ……look a bit like mates but will push the other one off the shed to survive.

A take on Johnson, the fella doesn’t like him very much, he wanted to make a TV programme about all his lies but got knocked back, he also used to write for the Daily Mail, wrote an article never got published.
