Is anyone going to mention today's 'faux pas' or are Poolie1 and Snowy still wearing blinkers.

But some others were corrupt once and other people lie a lot so why should he resign?

Boris is a rogue, but master of the ‘faux pas’. ….but who exactly is going to replace him….?
Don’t start printing election leaflets at the Labour offices just yet. :!:
By the way 27, I don’t have any political allegiances, I just like priming the ‘believers’ who vote like their dad and their grandad of any Party.
Trying to wind me up over politics is making the mistake of thinking everyone thonks like you.

Funny how all these Tory bad boys are popping up regularly to cast their spell…if I was a cynic I’d suspect Boris being……..
Give the Tories a cast iron position and they’ll work their socks off to fuck it up.

Well Mr Snowy we have a mix of allegiances in my family so I'm not a multi generational labour voter, far from it. These are very interesting times and dodgy politicians are not helping us. The 'black mood' in Westminster is really because of the confidence vote and now they see they are in the firing line they start to act.

My motto now before I vote is ….. ‘what’s in it for me and mine’… sounds rather cynical, but that’s what it boils down to in the end. I have no loyalty to any of them, but it’s a poor field out there.

An attempted Indian coup today I see. It will fail and Boris will win the next election at a canter.

Thanks for the bit of whataboutery but my comment was in response to Mr. I's assertion that Johnson will still be Tory leader at the next election. Boris hasn't got a snowball in hell's chance of doing that because the Tory party has had enough of him.

As there is no evidence of Snowy being racist, nor is he sticking up for anybody, I have removed your comment, Madame Tissot. He criticises politicians of all colours, and is correct to point out the relationship Mr I has with Pools.
I might also remind you that Mr I created this forum and provides the cash to fund it, thus allowing you to take part.

The way its going i can see our MP "Absent Jill" getting in the cabinet which will give her a further excuse to have nothing to do with the town.

On the positive side if BJ goes i reckon there will be one hell of a leaving party. Could anyone get me an invite.

I would like to bet our MP gives Johnson 110% support, all part of self interest, I hope the people of Hartlepool realise what a huge mistake they made by voting for her.

When they manage to get rid of Boris, those who have decided to abandon him will want their jobs back and maybe one or two have their eyes on his job.
All the pressures will be sorted out in the run up to the election, whilst any failures, misgivings etc will be firmly dumped on Bojo's doorstep and he will become a distant memory. The opposition will, as usual, make a cod's ear of presenting an electable alternative and whoever replaces Boris and his/her merry band will stroll into Downing Street.

From posts on Arsebook it looks like our Jill has backed BJ.
I want to puke.

I got sacked of the Hartlepool Post Facebook page permanently no reason given initially, I found out later it was because they said I was being argumentative. The page was full of brexiteers and plastic Tory supporters and you could not give an honest opinion, the admin team well one of them in particular who used to personal friend sacked me.

Well, we couldn’t keep our disgraced ex MP and Starmer’s choice of the man who planned the closure of most of our hospital services in the town was a bit of a cock up too!
Who would you have voted for….?

Cameron was a Park Lane car salesman who cocked up his referendum because he thought he couldn’t lose, that’s why he held one.
Boris is half Just William, half Bigfoot. I reckon he could hold a barn stomp in a minefield and be the only one to walk away with legs intact because he’s jammy.

Bojo soon won't have enough loyalist MPs left to replace all the ministers and junior ministers who have resigned.

Thick-skinned as he is, he'll have to face facts very soon and walk, because it's slightly less ignominious than being booted out.

Funny thing is they booted Thatcher out, punched the air among the top Tories, put Randy Major in charge and were out of office for 13 years.
I think the Tory Party need to add a few more questions to the application form for prospective MP’s like ….’are you addicted to porn?’ …or…..’ do you like to grope men?’ ….. save a lot of trouble in the long run.

The man who started all this recent stuff is / was my MP.

To say I was never a fan of Margaret Thatcher would be the understatement of the last century, but nobody could question her personal probity - she didn't, for example, enrich herself when she was out of office in the disgusting way that Blair did.

She also didn't suffer fools gladly and jumped on anyone who let the side down while she was Prime Minister. Johnson is the author of his own misfortunes because he is venal, weak and a liar.

I have just watched Bojo's so called grilling by the Parliamentary Liaison Committee and wasn't impressed by the grillers whose sole impression came across as a bunch of ill mannered kids who have just had a smacked arse and sent to bed without their customary jam sandwich.
The knives are well and truly out.

Looks like the little grey men and women in suits are leaving the cabinet in an orchestrated order to get rid of Boris….. they talk of principles but they’re just looking out for their own skins of course…
Boris gone, enter Rodney Grey Bloke, ex financier, remainer, French wife, second home in Tuscany and wants things back to the globalist way of doing things and his version of normality.
Back to the Future and Euro’s in your pocket in five years time.

The only potential candidate as new leader of the Tories who voted Remain is Jeremy Hunt and he hasn't got a prayer of winning. The rest will all promise to deliver on the fabled benefits of Brexit. You know, the ones like the EU imposing tedious and expensive customs checks on British goods entering the EU, just as they said they would, while our customs is still waving through EU goods without any additional checks because it would be too much bother and add too much to the cost of living to reciprocate.

The best that can be hoped for is whoever gets in will make a bit less of a pig's ear of the Northern Ireland situation than Johnson already has.
