If you look him up on google he is worth £100 million and owns 51% of York City FC in conjunction with the supporters trust.

‘Born in Hartlepool, raised in South Africa,’ so I suspect his time here was a bit on the very brief side….. possibly several nappy changes.
But whatever floats his boat.

Our chairman was born halfway across the World.
If Mr Henderson wants to finance York City good luck to him. At least he's chosen a proper football club, like Raj did.

York has some nice pubs so i dont blame him.
The Blue Bell and the York Tap on the railway station being my favourites.

Yes Mr A i just hope nothing like this ever happens to Pools. Newcastle has resisted it for years and continues to do so. Good on em.

York’s is a ‘Community Stadium’….’Bootham Crescent’ was a goldmine in a smart residential area of the City. No brainer sadly sadx
Trouble with these Cooking foil and concrete Community Stadiums is you’re not just a tenant, but one of a number of tenants….imagine you’ve drawn Man City in the FA Cup and the ‘York and District Community Plywood Shed Society’ had it booked before hand to demonstrate Extreme shed varnishing. sctatchinghead

seems it a new age thing to call non league clubs a community club now with no difference in the running of them or extra gates because of it. a totally meaningless phrase with nothing whatsoever behind it.

‘Community’ is used because it is a shared facility with a number of organisations and not York’s ground as such, as they also share it with the rugby club. Ouch.
