I hope all these defenders we are signing are going to chip in with 10 goals each.

Well let's hope Leigh Griffiths can still do it then.

It's Olli Shaw from Kilmarnock.

Makes me laugh all players say “as soon as I spoke to the gaffer it was a no brainier”

One that the rumour mill missed! Looks like a good young prospect.

Conversation yesterday afternoon with one of my lads, said we’d signed him and he asked me to check him out …. Banging away on a million versions of how to spell what I thought was ‘Pattison’…… got there eventually :uhoh:

the gaffer has great ambition for the club and i cannot wait to get going. no wonder players have agents when they cannot say anything original in iniewiews. thing is many fans lap it all up.

I think if you watched 3 new signings interviews you would cover every generic phrase used and never have to watch another!
Obviously have no knowledge of the kid but hopefully improves back up for Ferguson as from the sounds he’s an attacking full back. This also should spell the end of Ogle, with back up for both full backs now covered.

It’s only natural most young lads are going to come up with the same stock phrases, they’re hardly like to scan a book of English prose to compose their own little gem …. such as…. “ Gather around me stout media fellows and harken unto my message, my joy, unsurpassed at being chosen by my Liege Lord Manager Hartley, for whom I would besiege the very Gates of Hell, …..and I’m glad I’ve finally signed for the gaffer.”
Unlikely.

You’ve got to admit this would be much better though!
I get your point though, I imagine agents coach players into what the fans will want to hear

It’s a bit like those football magazines in the seventies where they asked the players their favourite drink…always Lager or Bacardi and Coke and favourite food always steak.

One from Rangers followed by one from Celtic. PH seems to have everything in his locker.

Not sure that Ogle has been a disappointment, so why want rid of him? Perhaps PH has signed the two as cover, as he expects decent bids to materialise for Sterry & Ferguson

tyne.."Not sure that Ogle has been a disappointment, so why want rid of him?"

...obviously not considered good enough..and hartley has brought in better...would expect him to be loaned out..

I wouldn’t say a disappointment I just don’t think he’s worked out. Has all the athletic abilities of a good player but lacks technical skills. I think the drop off in quality from Sterry to him was very noticeable and the team suffered but can appreciate anyone replacing Sterry would be on a hiding to nothing.
I’m hoping that any bids for them will be knocked back immediately.

Patterson can also play on the left side of midfield.

From what people say PH likes to play a high tempo attacking game involving wing backs. Maybe, in order to maintain this over ninety minutes, his tactics involve using all of the four we have got. Probably all will become clearer when we see who will be expected to convert the crossing intensity this will create.
I think we're going to see something different.
