Carabao Cup

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Tough draw but we can take inspiration from last seasons decent cup runs.
Win on penalties with the new keeper /coach man of the match.
400 poolies.

both clubs have a new manager and can see it regarded as more important both put on a show for the game. think the bookies will have us favourites to lose so there is no point going. there fans though are a mirror image of sunderland and if we are winning easily there will be more poolies left in the ground at the end than them. will it be on ifollow live.

Aye, I have a few mates who are Rovers fans (even though I live in Leigh near Bolton/Wigan) and they still refuse to buy a season ticket till the Venky's have departed.

yes, and some moan about raj at every chance they get. problem is that if the venky,s go it could mean new wank owners from the land of the free trying to change the club in every way possible.
