i could see us maybe getting one - that being the GK ? I picked out from the free agents a few weeks ago :

- Jake Cooper
- Cian Harries
- Cooke (Crewe link bares weight and their board talks of him)
- Keillor-Dunn (Heard hes off to Rochdale or Stockport)

all of which would get into our team but i just cant see us getting any of them - all good players on their day though.

we are expected to make an announcement on a new GK - 34 year old Kyle Letheren - Morecambes Welsh shot Stopper. May have been at Dundee same time as Hartley 2013-2015 ?

Letheren did play for Hartley in 2013-14 and was voted Player of the Season that year when they won the Scottish Championship. Since then he's had spells at York and Chesterfield in the NL, among others, and had his contract with Morecambe terminated by mutual consent in February.

Looks like he would be a decent signing for Pools but I wouldn't take bets on him relegating Killip to the bench just yet!

Apparently Aberdeen wanted to sign him after he left Morecambe but he couldn't due to a technicality and he could only sign for a non league side which he didn't want to do. Also notice he has a goalkeeper academy so he could be player/GK coach.

Never played after Carson arrived at Morecambe last season and kept them up. Had a few clubs but competition for Killip is good.

Sounds like he didn’t get on with those in charge, so him not playing may have been nothing to do with Carson arriving or his ability in goal.

If hes good enough for Aberdeen then hes deffo good enough for us - hope its true.

It isn't about liking him or not, I think we're allowed to talk about how the club is being run (the club we love) in all terms good or bad.
