Shelts signs on - not the interesting news i was hoping for tbh

hardly a key player last season and the ear bud debacle is embarrasing.

Unless they’ve given the cotton bud a contract and you get a free Shelton with every contract.
Just a thought.

As a squad player - yes, as he does have an extremely good engine on him.

Doesn’t really fit the bill re pace and power that we have been promised. I’m hoping this promise of ‘quality’ does arrive.

Good news I think.
He basically had about 2 weeks off during the last 2 seasons. Since July 2020 till May 2022. Form was bound to drop during/towards the end of that especially as he covers so much ground.
Didn't he run 12k or something in the play off final.
I hope he has a good season.

Like Ogle and Crawford decent back up players. Probably had no offers from other clubs and decided to sign. Wonder if Mols is starting to sweat. Portsmouth already said not interested and no movement from Blackpool or Derby to date.

Derby are weeks away from being able to sign anybody. They could even go into liquidation:
“As previously communicated, the EFL is incredibly frustrated at the time it is taking to conclude this sale. With the League just two weeks away from announcing its 2022/23 fixture list, it urgently requires a clear understanding of how the club will be funded moving forwards."

Is it me or do we tend to overrate our own players some times.
Last season people on here were talking constantly about how DC was gonna come back with a cheque book and put the entire squad in a Transit and drive them back to Stockport.
It never happened.
Mols may still go, but according to chatter on here he’d be the target of a bidding war by a host of clubs, again, never happened like that.
We’ll see.

its a football thing where certain lads are overated by fans and others are in the opposite camp. mols maybe a good pools player but not sure he,d be that good in even a top league 1 side with someone else.
