Well who is to be between Solihull or Grimsby?

Is it Baltis or Fish & Chips?

What journey do you fancy?

Really fancied Chesterfield but have to go with the fish people. A short lived drop down to the ex football league appreciation society.

I'd prefer Grimsby but I have a hunch for Solihull.
Much prefer the trip to the seaside, from here it's a doddle.

Grimsbys form has been excellent since Gav arrived. Be good to see them back in the FL.

i predicted Solihull - and still fancy them tbh - If they dont make it id be thinking Andrew Dallas has shown enough to maybe give him a shot at league football - certainly have him at Pools.

Again The man released from Tranmere who seems to have scored in every game for Grimsby looks like he has hit form at the right time. Can see him earning a contract no matter what happens.

Couldn't hit a barn door for Tranmere or Salford. Hurst's new Lennel John-Lewis.

Crazy to think the Fish had a chance to play a team from Whales...

it's also came out that Grimsby and Solihull fans are buying concession tickets in protest of the fixtures price...im sure that's going to be fun on the turnstiles.. especially after last year's ticket related incident in London.

Just realised we paid the exact same amount last year, for an even longer trip and we hardly moaned as much as Grimsby are. Even Stelling has mentioned it now.

Proof our fans don't complain as much as we and other people claim we do.

I would be more worried about getting to the London Arena this Sunday with the Jubilee celebrations, road closures and no doubt a reduced train timetable

just why it has be be london is always beyond me. you would think there was no alternatives anywhere else in the country. oh forgot there was bristol and that would be a bigger treck for the fishermans friends.

Last season before Bristol Shitty presumably gave the NL a load of money it was going to be Leicester's King Power, brilliant ground in a location no one can moan about.

Still, Pools achieved the pretty spectacular feat of winning a playoff at an away venue. Let's hope we don't meet Torquay in the playoffs again, don't fancy playing at Weymouth's Bob Lucas Stadium.

The reason the NL give for playing the final at a more reasonable venue is that all these Clubs finished their season upwards of 2 weeks ago and were having work done on their pitches. Surely not all of them?
The NL run by a team of amateurs but no doubt being paid in 6 figures.

exactly. makes you wonder how many grounds were available for that final. at a guess far more than they made out. the venue was chosen with torquay in mind and not pools.

The BBC is currently showing Grimsby beating Solihull 1-0 when in fact Solihull are winning 1-0 !

They are so so amateur these days. Lazy journalism, no proof reading. They'll be blaming predictive text.
Their caption says 0-1 and underneath it says HT 1-0. You couldn't make it up.

yes eventually after they had to do a re count. shows how much they really care about lower league football. they would never have got a liverpool or man.u score wrong.

They least now have the same time as everyone else to recruit players etc... as in this time last year we had just beaten Bromley 3-2 and where on our way to face Stockport in the Semis.
