An excellent drink, had many a night on that, they brought it back in the 80s if I remember rightly. Then just faded away.

Only ever drank it once, me dad had to pick me up and drive me home and all I can remember was heaving my gut's up out the passenger widow all the way home everything after that is a blank.

i dont think anyone knew how strong it was. At the time (as i remember) strength was judged by original gravity eg 10/40 not ABV (alcohol by volume) eg 4%.
I suspect the OG was reasonable but ABV high hence it was rocket fuel. :obscene-drinkingdrunk:
Also batches varied in strength.
I did know the Brewer but aint seen him for ages.

The beer was withdrawn and years later re released with more gas but weaker but it failed to make any impact  and was withdrawn.
