have to admit its been a long time since the club seemed this professional in its approach - very pleased with that and what he has to say - he has been a revelation so far for this club

Portugal for warm weather training

New kit with confirmed dates - Pre season Fixtures sorted nice and early and still one last one to be announced... Plus a Trip to Hibs by the looks.

Also refurbishment of the club shop with what sounds like a full suite of actual Pools clothing merch to purchase.

If the manager that comes through the door ticks all the right boxes then this is very good news and the club is definitely back in the direction it needs to be ! Well done Mr Hobin

Very well presented by the COO.
His friendship with his counterpart COO at Hibs is interesting. Could maybe get a player or two out of that connection.

No mention of catering but sounds great apart from that.

It all sounds great doesn't it? Well maybe apart from the Season tickets spin. They aren't at record levels though for pre season, we only have 5 days left on the price reduction,so it looks like they will actually be way down on last seasons. Nice spin on it though.

Looks off the pitch the club is starting to get it's act together, but at the end of the day, it's the manager and money spent on the first team which are the big factors. Appoint another graeme Lee and not many people will give two hoots about 3 new strips and a pre season in Portugal.

Once they’ve been disconnected from their electric shock therapy they’ll be along.

We have sold 1000 so far last year was about 2600-2800. Not so long back we had over 3000 season ticket holders.

eiphos.."seemed this professional in its approach"

...right time for an update most definitely...but for me nothing of any real substance in there...or in rosies previous video interview..ground and shop being tarted up...pre season friendlies wow...an algarve jolly...joe 90 raring to go..just the necessary froth.. due to delays in the managerial recruitment process and unforeseen circumstances...and.. with expected but unpalatable news imminent?

Yes not sure we should get too carried away that the club are announcing friendlies and new strips, we tend to do that every year. We seem a bit more professional now, but the main thing is the manager and well that's dragging on yet again.

and of course not even a mention in the coo update on the council and the ground redevelopment plans...something of substance that really does matter...presume that means as usual there is no news there then...so we just carry on making do and tarting the bloody thing up i suppose....

Sure last season was 2500 STHolders.
Nowhere near this figure as it stands n only a few days left on EB sales.
Major signings required to maintain a decent amount of POD supporters.
Clubs lack of ambition and policy not to reinvest last seasons moneys back into the team will obviously adhere to a drop off in support.

Not to extend EBDeadline will be a major marketing mistake.
Surely it goes to end of June.

I can assure you hold up’s when dealing with the the Council, are par for the course.

I would suggest that the recruitment section is completely pointless without a manager.

Yeah couple days before the Crawley game we went through 2500 we sold a few more after that as well. Thing is once the money goes up we won't sell many more. So to actually come out with rubbish like record breaking season ticket sales for 3 weeks is so misleading. We are way down on previous seasons. The club knows that, so if they don't extend the deadline, they really are hoping then the team that's built can somehow keep the support.

Come unstuck this year so be prepared for more academy players from various clubs.
