I bought one. When I arrived at the ‘sports’ section after acres I’d ads and bumpf, I found the white bread of Pool’s reporting…. stodgy and unappealing. I was fascinated by a small postage stamp photo of the inside of the Vic with the cation ‘ Suit you Stadium’ but related to nothing whatsoever, very odd.
With a mid week appearance of the Mail, football reports will be pointless, coming out mid week….. so I anticipate a behind the scenes gossipy soap opera type scenario with tales from the club telling us everything is rosy…..and supporters groups will doubtless become a valuable source to be milked with features about them……
We’ll be getting features like The story behind Pools Floodlights or OXO or tea, your favourite match day choice in the 60’s ..your chance to vote and stuff like that.
