He was released last July and, as yet, hasn't signed for anybody. He is a free agent.

Was allegedly earning £20k'ish a year at fulham and been unemployed as a player for a year. I expect his agent made something out of that move.

Excellent comments from Raj and Lee Rust. Glad to see the club was prepared to battle to see justice done rather than taking the line of least resistance.

Luca Murphy has been without a club for 9 months already. All things considered if he's ever going to restart his career it's unlikely to be at Pools.

Earning £20K a year sorry but I just don’t buy that. I have no idea but I would guess at no more than £5000 per week if he’s lucky. Fulham not renowned as big spenders just think they were trying to do Pools out of a fee.

It Looks like they are probably getting promoted but I hope they have a disastrous season and drop like a stone into the National league, unlikely I know but we can only hope. Not that I'm in anyway a bitter person.

Any club that is prepared to fleece a smaller club and steal players that have cost that club a lot to develop has no class.

They should look at their London neighbour Crystal Palace if they want to aspire to something more decent.

surely Raj knew the financial implications before pursuing this still - i highly doubt we come away with nothing even after the legal men with ties have been squared up. Bet its a nice little addition to our transfer budget or hopefully Mols and Sterrys new deals sorted

That doesn't stop the club reviewing his position and extending his contract with a new deal, especially if Mols, Timi and Fergie get pay increases.
As well as showing our intentions it stops any unrest over pay differentials.
This squad has shown it can compete against league one sides so the squad needs further re enforcement not replacements, if at all possible.
