Here's my report from tonight's League Two clash between Hartlepool United and Mansfield Town where the two sides shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

The high amount of stewards is because Mansfield have a reputation.

thats true and its not just a group of gobby youngsters either. some of their older fans still live in a 70/80.s timewarp.

Who determines the amount of stewarding or number of stewards based on the supporters' reputations of other clubs? Can matters not improve or are clubs branded for life?

They say what goes badly against the reputation of the skunk is it’s ‘calling card’ and so it is with football supporters. The road to ‘improvement’ is in the hands of the supporters of those clubs, because frankly, a portion of some clubs supporters see it as a badge of honour to act like semi- house trained chimps on heat.

you can go back years and years and find supporters of certain clubs are just the same apart from their faces have changed. if cockyport do come up there will be plenty of stewards needed at the vic. they might if they are lucky get their own personal steward for the game. bradford have been the same since the mid 60,s where my girlfriend was pushed to the ground at their place and i could do sod all about it as i had no back up.
