Whatever sanctions are imposed on the Russians, Putin won't go without his marmite on toast for breakfast.
The way he is indiscriminately murdering and/or starving children in Ukraine he obviously doesn't prioritise kids for protection so he'll let them take the brunt of any sanctions long before said sanctions bite into him.
He is a cancer that needs ripping out.

Well it took the russians well over 100 years to get rid of their first cancer, the czarist regime after the french got rid of theirs. Subdue their own people so much so i suppose you cannot expect them to turn over putin any time soon.

Yes over one hundred years ago they murdered their way into power and have systematically been murdering since in order to stay in power. All their ex soviet friends have deserted them apart from the odd puppet and they are now turning on their murderous tap against one of their close neighbours.
On top of that their hierarchy contain some of the richest capitalists in the World, whilst condemning capitalism elsewhere.
Evil is too good a word.
Oh dear.

If the present regime is evil which i,ll agree it is i just wonder in history when that country ever had a regime that was not. They may number some of the richest people on earth but so it did under the czars. Really doubt the commie leaders and those in top positions then were on the bread line either. For a developed country there has always been one of the biggest gaps from the haves and have nots and the policy from the top regarding anyone not following the party line or minorities must be very close to rock bottom. Saying that i doubt the average russian worker is not that much different to us in thoughts but cannot voice them.

There are some in this country who love the Russian model but stop at the idea of living there.
I'm getting the impression that Putin's army aren't as good as he or they think they are.
Our problem is figuring out what he's gonna do next.

The country might have had the same Party in all but name in charge for a hundred years, but the Communists are just the Tsarists under a different label, incredibly wealthy elite and the people doff their caps to them if they know what’s good for them, in fact the Stalin era was without doubt the worst of all, the attitude of the Ukrainians is based on the the famine Stalin created in the early 1930’s when nearly 4,000,000 Ukrainians died from starvation, they even welcomed the Germans as liberators in 1941 when they invaded.
It’s a country that needs another revolution.
