Just hope he doesn't read the comments on here !
We don't even know if he's been played in his preferred position. Believe we paid a fee for him, which is highly unusual for Pools, so someone has seen something in him.Think we need to assess after a full pre season.

its funny how these fans go quiet as well when their hated one have good games. cannot understand the attitude of wanting pools players to play bad to give them the complete matchday experiance. do not rate killip or carver but if they prove me wrong i,d be very happy indeed.

I bet you dident go up to the Millhouse seats and tell these FUCKWITS to stop complaining.!

I hope Gareth Southgate knows how good Turnbull is at Recruitment.
Carver signs for Peterborough in the Summer.
Scores a shitload of goals then helps England win the World Cup later in the year in Sandland.

do you want me to bore you more by giving a season on season report about his exploits in those leagues since he dropped out of league 2 10 years ago. know for certain i have seen him more than you over the years as well as turnbull. i,d call that a double stamp post.

so it was the timid one that lost us the game last night. its obvious you do not rate the lad in any way but it seems that your lifes ambition is watching him as closely as possible to highlight any things he could do better and ignore the good stuff. you seem to be doing on here what your reply to kit kat was about other fans regarding oates and featherstone.

I think your obsession with timi holds no bounds you have managed to pick out a forward winning a header in the box in 90 minutes of action well done. Are forwards not allowed to win headers in the box? It does happen.

Funny how you don't mind ridiculing our players on a regular basis, yet won't have a word said about the guy who can release funds to find better replacements.

Best just ignore him. He's like the unpopular kid in the corner of the classroom, always trying to get people's attention by talking shite.

I’d have kept and played him. A central midfielder who always has a goal in him - great skill in arriving into the box at the right time to score. Loved the club too.

spike must have his reasons for not fancying gav...has been brilliant for us and personally i rate him....having said that playing for us is most definitely the pinnacle of his career....only played in the tin pot irish league before us...and at coming up 31 ....my guess would be a return home or some non league outfit for a couple of years....the fake ? sickie to force an early get away before the end of the season... if true.... does gav no favours... and makes him look a right little shit tbh....

there used to be a saying in the game that you are as good as your last game. well its awhile since he had a memorable game for pools this season. challinor dropped him before spike came ever near the club so the idea of them not getting on seems a non starter. best thing for all parties is that he goes quickly as possible which seems the case.

he has reportedly gone to Grimsby - no doubt will get into their starting 11. He does well at that level.

One of his replacements Bryn Morris struggles to play 20 games a season though.

What’s that got to do with anything....he’s gone, must suit him, end of story.
Dragging Morris’s injury record is neither here nor there, he’s here till the end of the season, so if his injury record is no good doubtless he’ll not get a contract..........sign for someone else and have a great season for his new club.

just hope morris is not given any "favours"....the two borer "mates" cooper and hignett signed...parnaby and williams....knowing the risk of both being complete and utter crocks.....ended up costing the club a lot of money it could hardly afford to lose...

We are supposedly signing him at the end of the season. Whether things have changed over last couple of weeks, we will soon find out.

I think this injury is unrelated to his previous - just an unlucky tackle that hit the wrong spot (could of happened to any of our players). Its the fact hes hard in the tackle and likes to win the 50/50s hes presented with that puts such players in harms way. The sacrifice for a MF Maestro a suppose. Good to see him back on the fringe of the match day squad.

Id like to see him and Dolan in the Mf next season - Poolies born and bred and both L1 quality imo.

Been a long time since we have had actual Home born home grown players of such quality on the field. Another Boydy would do just nicely about now.

on top of that it means the club have to make extra signings to cover crocks who are missing far more than they are not. wages that could be used somewhere else. some players are injury prone and others seem to shake off knocks that everyone get in games quite quickly. better signing someone who can play most games in a season than a better player who will be missing a good part of the season.

Morris has been out for a month. It seems like longer because of that mad spell of 4 games in 11 days starting with Harrogate. He's supposedly back in contention for the Northampton match.

Let's see how he does in the 9 games Pools have got left before writing him off as a crock. If he misses a lot of them too I'd be amazed if Lee gives him a permanent deal.

might make sense to make any decision about morris based more on what we know about his history over the past three seasons.....rather than the next 9 games.....

agree. he,s a good player but i prefer an average one who,ll play the majority of our games. its not as if the club is awash with money to gamble on one players fitness.
