Reading the EFL paper on Sunday on Barrow v Carlisle it said the gate of 4650 was the highest league gate since Boxing day 1979. I know they were non league for a long time but that is terrible.

Er, what ‘slump’ is that ?

There’s something to build on with this team for next season. Hopefully can tie the first 11 down to new contracts asap. With 2 or 3 signings of Bogle ilk I think we’ll be formidable at this level.

I also think if you add Stockport and Wrexham to League 2 next season, it’ll be an extremely competitive and high level division with the likes of Bradford, Mansfield etc all undoubtably going to strengthen and be better.

The League next season i think will be considerably tougher - the teams coming up are alot stonger id say in this instance than those going down. Stockport will no doubt throw the kitchen sink at getting back to back promotions and Wrexham if they can manage the spectacular like us, will again throw huge cash at sustaining league status. The depending who drops out of L1 there will always be that one team looking to gain an instant rebound - Doncaster, Crewe etc are good sides.

yep always the case - for me i think that surprise package will either be us or Colchester. I think we recruit in the right areas - get another really good L1/Champ player in on loan (sign Morris too). Then perhaps Dolan as a defensive Mid if those rumours are true and away we go !

Wasn't his last game against Blackpool in the cup? We're he was excellent in the second half. Seems a strange one letting a goal scoring midfielder go, because as we know they don't come round very often at pools, never let us down, at times was brilliant for us in the conference.

Potentially snowy. The pools way go from terrible away to winning most weeks, being brilliant at home to not winning.
