There seems to be more and more teams at all levels using what is called Disruptive Tactics. One time time wasting was used in the later part of a game but now players are going down after nearly every tackle and referees stoping play. They do not want the trainer on because they would have to go off and they then get up and run around fit as fiddles. Players are getting wise to it at corners going down holding their heads straight away the referee stops play ‘head injury’. Also what happened to the 6 second rule for goalkeepers it is getting ridiculous the time they take and referees let them get away with it giving them a yellow card after about three warnings.( Killip is a good example at Mansfield he was warned in the first half). Another thing that annoys me is after every goal the whole team runs into the corner of the pitch and take no notice of the referee telling them to get on with the game and lo and behold there will be one player hanging back holding up the restart.
Well that’s my rant over.

It’s become an art form for some teams, wouldn’t be surprised if they had a stuntman advising them on ‘shot through the head’ style collapses and a flock of house trained choreographers to polish up their ‘dying swan roll’.

Plus the irritating taking the ball to the corner flag and obstructing another player. My biggest bug bear at the moment (Pools included) is the unecessary substitutions made very late in the game which is just designed to...waste time.

Goalkeepers taking 30 seconds from the ball going out of play, until the goal kick is taken. It happens regularly as I've timed it.

We, the mug punters, are the losers as we pay hard-earned money to be entertained. It's up to the refs to enforce the rules or just add even more time on at the end of 90 minutes to compensate for it

I hate it with keepers when they now take a goal kick from whatever side they like, you don’t get a choice on which side you take a corner from so if the ball goes out on one side, take it from that side.

do not forget throw ins either. rarely took from the spot where the ball goes out of play and once the player finally gets the ball to take them you can add another 30 seconds to the time. might be wrong but i have heard that in the average game the ball is in play just over 60 minutes. better then to have a shorter game where a time clock is stopped once the ball is out of play and re started once it is.
