I played in a band which did a gig alongside Page, thinking back we did one with DLT too. Travis had an ego the size of an aircraft hanger, but in answer to the question I don’t know. A lot of DJ’s, especially from the 70s/80s were giddy on their own self importance - perhaps they lose touch with reality?

could be the environment they are in where chances for anyone that way inclined are greater than for the average person. something that happens to fairground workers and amusement arcade staff who work a lot with young teens. have heard a few tales from the former that cannot all have been made up.
