I've been thinking about how good it is to be a poolie. We have had some shit times and some good times. My memories of following pools all over when I was younger, the good times were sparse but when they happened they were amazing, I think what I am saying is these are good times and this is a great season, Palace was an amazing day, the February form, one game from Wembley now, although I now live in Belfast and only get to some games I'm feeling so proud. Just think back to the shambles only a few years ago, we are blessed to be where we are now. I will have a few Belfast ones round mine watching the game tomorrow night, knowing we are a proper club. I watched the Sutton fans celebrating tonight, it was embarrassing, ok, fair play to them as a club for getting to Wembley and this post might come back to bite but come on, they have two minibuses at best, no matter what happens tomorrow night, we are where we are, a club that will never die. Come On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There haven’t been many..... the Ashurst era, even the Gibson era despite the drawback of riding on a crocodiles back, Harolds rescue and IOR, the secure years after decades of insecurity and we now seem to be cruising into another era of success after disappointment earlier in the season off the pitch...but if it all ends here, we can still be happy with this year’s achievements.

one game from wembley and a few years ago pools could not pay for their kit washing. must be one of the biggest success stories of the game at present and all done without free money.

Netflix Documentaries have been made on lesser things - we truly have risen from the ashes so to speak. In footballing terms this is an unbelievable 18 months for Pools. On and off the Pitch the entire club and fans have done the town proud ! Id say we are already on the footballing map but this certainly has cemented our place for those that didnt know our little old coastal town. I really hope we do get to Wembley tonight - most importantly the fans deserve it - the absolute icing on the cake for me. We have watched our club nearly collapse infront of our eyes to it going back to the LEAGUE and sit 1 game from Wembley ! Im sure many before a ball kicked this season would of thought any man who said we would be in a semi final of a cup this season would of marched you out the boozer and straight to the loony ward. But stranger things have happened in football UTFP ! cant wait for tonight !
