Just seen on official site regarding awards night at Hardwick Hall. £125 per ticket are they joking?

If the paps John's trophy is on the top table it will be worth it.
Can you pay in installments?

£125/  I shall have to decline that very ‘reasonably priced offer’.

It's not just the price of the ticket for us, there's travel and accommodation, hairdo and a new outfit, money for booze etc etc, not forgetting the fuel to get there and back. I think I'll give it a bit of a swerve.

To be fair, the pies are the size of a hot tub, but you have to ask yourself who’s been luxuriating in it’s meaty innards before it arrived at you table.

It is an option Snowy but I thought the Killip look to be fetching and would guarantee that I wouldn't catch anything.

I dread to think how much season tickets will be next season, if this is what they want for an awards night.

It's a different kettle of fish altogether. I imagine Tobin is hoping HUFC's corporate partners will buy the majority of the tables - a nice little jolly for senior staff and customers and tax breaks to claim back on corporate hospitality.

Years ago the company my company had sponsored for various events offered a few senior members of the board / staff a chance for us to go with them to some corporate rugby thing over St Helens . . . different breed those Rugby folk ... cracking night and the guest speaker was fantastic - was almost like sitting in a live showing of one of these Football podcasts where all the juicy goss comes out.
