Past 3 games we’ve been shite in the first half, better in the second. Hopefully not a trend. I posted earlier this week in regards to play off talk being premature - it’s a shame our previous form has meant we can’t afford a single slip up in our pursuit of an exciting finish to the season. Yesterday we were bang average.

we had this promotion talk earlier this season under challinor and it was unrealistic then as it is now. just happy to have pools mid table with two good cup runs no matter how the rotherham game pans out. even with all the ups and downs its still been our most positive FL season for years.

Oh aye, still a great season. Just the first half performances are a trend you want to buck. Understandably against superior opposition but even against Palace the first and second were completely contrasting.

Do we know if Rotherham play their first team in the FL trophy ?

The kid on loan from Rotherham, Hull, has played in it and scored so they did early on.
They have a bigger distraction because of their league ambitions so you never know.

problem we have is do we gamble on a full strength team (if all fit) ourselves for the League result on Saturday and potentially jeopardise a trip to Wembley or play it safe and keep some key players for the Rotherham game. An unexpecting double cup run has taken its toll unfortunately. Would like to see Bilo in goal sooner rather than later see what hes about.
