Please get the floodlight dud bulbs replaced before we play Rotherham, I counted 5 out on the north east corner alone. It looks run down and makes us look like we can't afford a few bulbs. Thanks in advance.

Careful now, criticising Raj is practically banned on this forum.

Leave Raj alone. He’d reducing our carbon footprint by not replacing those bulbs. What are you doing to save the planet eh?

I worked with a lad who brought a scone to work with his bait every day and went on and fucking on about how few currants were in it as he nibbled away like a little squirrel at it.
I’m getting flash backs now.
We found out later he baked them himself. stpid

I wouldn't worry about any reaction from the good folk of Rotherham. I can assure all here that they do not see their town as a garden city.
As for the footy fans watching on the goggle box, they know the difference between a footy match programme and one promoting tourism
A lot of things have happened since our club was financially raped a few short years ago and there are a lot of things to be put right and addressed.
To tackle all that is needed, a list of priorties has to be drawn up and it would appear that is what is happening.
The club have also mentioned that volunteers to help with progressing improvements in virtually every quarter are very welcome. Therefore instead of whingeing about this that and the other, get your arse down to the Vic and see if and where you can be of use.
Don't get carried away though by digging that old pair of boots out of their final resting place, we have sufficient cover in that department.

Counting the dud bulbs and types of gulls is the highlight of my visits to the Vic.

During the Bates era, one game we were so pressed by the opposition a large group of pied wagtail began to congregate in the oppositions box...i wish was joking.

Take all the bulbs out and turn them into watch towers where the sentries can follow play around with the massive beam from each tower following play..... also the belt fed machine guns in each tower should see an end to anyone trying to climb into the ground and make unwelcome supporters a bit more wary of abusing our reluctant hospitality.
Just a thought  m

Saw a pigeon getting attacked by gulls at a game. The pigeon hid under the roof in the Mill House stand.
It had a good view of the match btw.
