On sale from 10 this morning if anyone does not know. 2 per person but have to be collected from the ticket office. Anyone fancy getting a spare for me if you are going on your own. There,s a pint in it for you if you can. Do not want to stand with their lot again.

I'm sat in a queue online at the minute but will get a spare if i get to make a booking. Assume you are over an over 65?

Venuetoolbox website is very slow - I've been in a 7 minute queue, & the page is still loading after that wait

The ground capacity is 5,000 though some quote 4,500.... wonder if they sell all their home allocation.

more chance of winning the lottery without buying a ticket than that. they will know now that their allocation to us could have been sold double and their part will be half empty with a few poolie neutrals amongst them.

Not surprised it's sold out - spent 40 minutes in an online queue & got nowhere

Sorry mate - I got through eventually but it would only let me have 1 ticket - in the seats so I'll probably be behind a pillar. The whole process was like drawing teeth -half an hour just to take payment. Hope Venuetoolbox never get the Glastonbury contract!

cheers thanks anyway. i,ll give it a swerve now as another 90 minutes with their lot is something i dare not risk again if pools do perform on the day. getting arrested at harrogate is worse than a banning from mecca bingo.

Made a futile trip down and stood for an hour then told all sold out before I got anywhere near the front of the queue, only 600 tickets they (Harrogate) obviously don't want us there.

well if thats all they allocate for away fans then its just that. cannot do much about it. imagine how bradford city fans with over double pools gates and a derby game must have felt. at least those who cannot get a ticket will not have to go through a real intense search when entering the ground that i heard from another club. harrogate, the friendly club my arse.

In regards to their capacity of 5000,i thought you had to have at least 6000 capacity. Cant remember who were refused entry due to their capacity and facilities

Is it true Betty’s new Teacakeorama has a bigger capacity the Harrogates ground?

I would be interested to know how many tickets were sold from the ground this morning, as I reckon only about 50 people in front of me got any, therefore even if all 50 bought 2 tickets each where did the others go?, unless 500 were sold online which I rather doubt sctatchinghead

Not a chance Harrogate will sell out all the home capacity.
You would of thought a shit supported club would want to maximise potential income by giving pools 2 sides of the ground for this game.
Maybe they dont want over 2000 poolies takeing over spending a small fortune.
Cant upset the posh locals can we for 1 day of the year.

That’s the trouble, they don’t need the ticket income from visiting supporters as any normal club would.
With a ground capacity of only five thousand you’d imagine such a capacity is inadequate to maintain a normal club financially in this league and the meagre allocation of tickets seems to prove money for them is not an issue.

a bit different to accrington who give the whole of their new stand and the usual open end to visiting fans when they expect loads of away fans like sunderland or wigan. makes it nearly a 50/50 split between fans but they have money in the bank and i doubt any home fans cannot get a ticket. its not as if the toffs would lose out if harrogit did the same.

I obviously don't know where you were stood, but I got there just after 8:30 and was stood beside the office windows. I counted approximately 35 people in front of me, and I was served by about 10:10.

Well between the time you were served (10.10) and when it became evident that they were sold out 11.05 ish, I literally moved about 20 ft in the queue, saw as few as 15 people come out of the shop, so 35 + 15 x 2 tickets (max) = 100, I repeat my previous question, where did the other 500 tickets go then?

I finally got my online purchase of 1 ticket processed a bit before 11 on Wednesday. When I got through to the site it was showing 2 standing left; tried to get them but it wouldn't let me, then it showed 1 seat and left and I got that. Dunno if I believe the info that comes up on the screen or how online sales sync with in-person buys.

or was their allocation their full allocation to pools. i,m sure like other clubs tickets would be available to sponsors and friends of friends first or allocated first before we got our grubby hands on them. Just the same as FA Cup final tickets where some go every single year and my partner was offered a couple every season she worked for rotary international.

Whoa, we announced we were getting 600 tickets, Walsall got 470, do the maths, why didn’t they get 600, it should be Walsall fans asking where the other 130 have gone surely?

Did anyone notice how many empty seats there were in our section? Presumably people with seating tickets opted to stand but doesn’t that reinforce the notion that Harrogate could have allocated us far more tickets? Allegedly, earlier in the season, Scunthorpe had a thousand fans there!!

There was room for more in the standing areas too. But there's only one 4 at a time urinal (or 3 fatties) and one shitter for men in the entire away section, so they might not be allowed any more in because of building regs. It was comically inadequate as it was - would have been murder after a full session if it was a 3 o'clock kick off.

It put me in mind of when I was a young lad going to Roker Park with my cousins. Blokes used to piss down a rolled up newspaper so they didn't have to come off the terraces. Nobody minded as long as they didn't get their legs pissed on

I was in the Harrogate section behind the dug-outs, & a couple of locals behind me were moaning they were only allowed to buy two tickets each. A pretty clueless club which didn't maximise the income they could have got from Pools' fans today.
I had to laugh at the home fans chanting "What the f......h... was that" when their number 7 Thomson hit his free kick over the bar, following Crawford's foul.

Rotherham lost 1-2 to Milton Keynes today, despite playing against 10 men for 66 minutes

looking at it from the ifollow thing even in the standing part for pools there seemed to be lots of spare room. mind you why should they bother when they are bankrolled.
