Hopefully it wont end in tears - He cared enough about us to invest and save our asses ! Im sure, should he sell it will go to the correct bidder and like i stated before not some nut jobs from down south who only see the pound signs with no interest in the club - It has to be a local consortium or business man of such. Anyways i think like most the only sour taste in my mouth now is the fact we are another week deep entering the final days of the window and sure to shit nothing much has happened against what we was promised in said interviews. Maybe the cash is being left for the summer as January pickings arnt always fruitful, plus Mr Singh has made it clear he doesnt want to be wasting cash again. UTFP

We had a couple of token gesture signings and we will sign a couple on the last day of the window after we have saved another month of wages, maybe were hoping we win tonight for another 50 k and also live on radio which brings in another few grand too, a few under23s will appease some for a couple of weeks and a few will say oh he is still investing, but like most of us know if Scunthorpe and Oldham get their acts together we are in a dogfight.

have a good read all..... work it out...

https://www.hufcsupporterstrust.org.uk/ ... -published

"The annual report shows that Clarence 18 Limited advanced a further £700k to HUFC during the year ended 31 July 2020 bringing the total amount provided to £2,225,000. As it stood at 31 July 2020 the full £2,225,000 was declared as a creditor to be paid back to Clarence 18 Limited."

"The £285,000 listed as ‘Other Creditors Due after one year’ and £45,000 of the £50,895 ‘Other Creditors due in one year’ is assumed to be amounts owed to Sage Investments Limited, however the actual amount to be paid will depend on performances on the pitch within 15 years of the original takeover. But it is possible that all or some of the £45,000 would have to be paid on gaining promotion to the EFL League 2.

"The amount of financial commitments not included in the statement of financial position is £1,186,143, down from £1,213,275 in 2019. In the 2018 accounts this was £882,000 which was down £18,000 from the 2017 amount."

Please explain it. My read is that this simply shows that the debt due to C18/ Raj increased and that some amounts (much smaller and contingent) were still due to Sage.

thing is debt and football clubs go together like fish and chips. its a case of managing the debt thats important. it would be a very small league that consisted of debt free clubs in this country.

Raj if you spent less time on here and signed us a few players, no one would be talking about debt.

What the accounts show is that he has put 2.25m in to the club and therefore stands to lose a fair amount if we aren’t successful as a business. I think that is the view of most of our fan base given the level of support and attendances. Some folk will never be happy and spout utter nonsense in a bid to draw attention on themselves, we know that and so does he.

Turned out it was a loan.

Also, one thing that will become more apparent, its NEVER Singhs fault. He always finds someone else to blame.

I’ll br brutal..... it’s a business, not a fellowship...... we’re basically customers.
You can be a totally devoted mad keen follower of a band, but they ain’t gonna invite you in to approve or have a input into their ‘business’.
If you are a customer of Tesco, they want your custom, for life preferably, but they ain’t gonna share their books or ambitions with you.
It’s about time we realised that.

whilst that may be true pools are to many people more than a shop. after their families and possibly to some even more than their families pools are the most important thing in their lives. all the hundreds that go away watching more in hope than expectation watching a team with the worst away record in the league need and deserve some information. amongst our fans there will be many that scrape and save for a season ticket or the actual admission price for games that they can make it too. these customers deserve more info but do not expect a seat at board meetings.

Yes it’s part of OURlives, nice if the owners share commitment too, but they rarely do.
I’m not saying they’re not good people for not having our love and connection, so long as they do the job correctly.

What is 'stunning' about me asking you to explain the subtlety of your point as it has passed me by? I pointed out a number of published facts and wait for those with greater knowledge or expertise to explain what those simple facts mean.

It isn’t, but the club was on the ropes and had been shafted, four years in that context in is not long at all.

No I get that snowy it's not but what we owe compared to what most other clubs owe isn't vast. In raj Singhs own words on November 21st we are a million miles away from what we were 3 and a half years ago.

Poolie1 you’ve hit on the answer of course you are just being silly. Your trying to interpret a set of trading accounts when you have no expertise or knowledge whatsoever in doing so. You simply have to develop a level of trust in people based on their actions. Because we haven’t signed a loan player or two you feel the need to go all Angela Lansbury? Grand.

The board has been dogged for months with DC, Oates, Armstrong, Raj and what if’s.
Change the names and keep the what if’s and this could be any day on the board since it began
Nothings new under the sun.

He was asked a straight forward question and gave a reply that ended up being bullshit.
He could have been honest and said "yes this is classed as loan despite me owning the club and the lending company" but he didnt, he tried to deceive people with a dishonest answer.
He probably wouldn't have got such a hard time if he had been honest.

its not the size of the debt that matters its the ability of the club to pay it back. our debt is like petty cash to some premier league clubs where is pools had similar debts to them we would be lucky to watch the northern league at pools.
