be a long time before any of the likes of Solihull or Eastleigh get ahead of Wrexham or who ever stays in that league upto L2. Quite a few big hitters regardless going to be left in

I found it bizarre how last the season before last Pete Wild said Halifax didn't have the backing of the "bigger teams".

It shows how challenging the NL has became, when Halifax are no longer a big team at this level.

halifax are only a big team due to their years in the football league with a large half empty ground. top of the league with under 2k attendance at their last home game. imagine both solihull and eastleigh could match that with a similar league position.

With all the postponements the top of the National League is starting to look like it did last season. It's odds on that the two promoted sides are going to come from the current top 8 but there'll be a lot of nail biting for the likes of Halifax while other clubs play their games in hand.

You'd have to say Chesterfield, Notts County and Stockport all look well placed to go very close to winning it but every defeat, especially against a promotion rival, is going to look like disaster. Think Challinor will have to face the play offs again.

Interesting seeing Torquay sitting lower mid table. We picked a good time to get out of that league.

Chesterfield or Stockport will win the league.
