its cup runs like these that have decided the future seasons of medium sized clubs like us - even if its the summer in which we unleash holy hell on the transfer market so be it - its these cup runs that can add to that war chest and hopefully get us a promotion push within the next 2 years or so.

Still no attack of any description from Pools. Basically not been allowed to have one. Two divisions between the two teams and it shows. Pools not playing badly they're just up against a much better team so far. Saying that they've just missed an absolute sitter.

Overall we're fortunate to be 1-0 down. Blackpool have been the better team although quite wasteful in front of goal. They missed two real sitters which they may live to regret. Pools on the other hand have offered zilch as an attacking force on the other hand we've competed well in midfield and are in fact up 51-49 in terms of possession.

Not a classic by any means but still in it at 1-0

Ha Ha, you are indeed. Yes they should have scored more than one goal, but what a 2nd half performance that was by Pools. should have ended up 3-1.

After being dominated in the first half and going behind what a transformation. Well done to the management and coaching staff for the change in tactics. Once the second goal went in it knocked the stuffing out of Blackpool and their hearts were no longer in it.

Exeter got Man United away some years ago and pocketed over a million quid. It set them up for years. Something like that could transform Pools. Also given the way Man United are at the moment a win isn't out of the question!
