hope you are right. i always predict a pools defeat as over the years more i wanted pools to win the less likelihood there was in them doing it. well till last season anyway.

Pies cold, lager off, shortage of chips, and chaos at the gates on the Mill House side.

Rumours circulating about the futures of Sterry, Sweeny and Holohan.

Hopefully a win, Oldham have some decent players in there team, can we sign any of them? And they gave us the run around at times when we played them at there place. Just hope we play more football then hoofball!

Let's hope our Glorious owner allows spike to sign the right players, as I feel, what we do this month will decide our future in the league.

Our away form has got relegation fodder written all over it, to be getting beat more often than not away, in the league. (the Bradford game being a very notable exception) cannot instil confidence.

Offside goal for Pools and hit post. They are struggling to deal with Burey but pretty poor overall. Two poor teams as per the Scunthorpe game.

Most worrying is we are standing off and there is no intensity since DC left. The midfield must have half the stats for distance covered under Lee.

Wolf pack? More like laid back!

Two attempts on target all game. I mean, its not like we are playing Real Madrid.

Sounds like another missed opportunity to win a game. Umpteen efforts on goal but hardly any on target.
Chandy's commentary very hit and miss, just like our goal scoring efforts.

Still a reasonable gap to the bottom two but two glorious chances of putting a really healthy gap in place gone begging, especially at home.
Hope these last two home performances don't bite us on the arse.

Need to sort out the set plays, sending up center half's and no headers on goal in 16 corners

An improved performance, and style of play though be it against a very poor Oldham midfield.

I think if we'd have had Cullen available, we would have won. If we'd have had Armstrong, we'd have been out of sight.

I thought the performance was still poor and Oldham also had two to three gilt edged chances.

We had more of the ball and a lot more corners, but I wouldn’t bet against either team being in the bottom 4.

I think the early season excitement has long gone now, only a cup win or two can maybe bring a bit of buzz back now. Looks like it's going to be a grind with these two in charge, already lost some 600 to 1000 of the gate.

If true I hope we get a decent fee for him to help strengthen the rest of the team. Mind you, dunno why Stockport would want Sterry, they've got Southern Hales.

I'm beginning to wonder if Graeme Lee reads the Bunker because hoofball was definitely off the menu today. It was all about building patiently from the back - too patiently for a lot of fans in the second half when 0-0 was starting to look nailed on.

I'm tempted to say Timi Odusina had a decent game today apart from his miss hit back pass in the first half and slipping over and letting their forward through on goal in the second. Tempted - except if Oldham's forwards weren't utter dogshit they'd have been 2-0 up.

Dunno about Sterry going to Stockport but there's definitely something up with him. Maybe he's still getting over Covid, but he was excellent for the first 20 minutes today, then hurt his shoulder in a collision with their narky No 9. After that it was like someone had flicked a switch. He stayed on for the full 90 minutes but just didn't look at it.

It was a real shame that Jordan Cook got injured in the first half. He looked very sharp till he had to go off. Just Pools' luck at the minute!

It's in the Echo:

Guessed as much. He gave the Millhouse a little wave when he was substituted just before full time.
