Being heavily linked with Josh McPake of Rangers - 20 year old currently on loan at Morcambe (injured like).

Has glowing reports and spent time with Harrogate last season. Direct pacey winger.

Wouldnt go a miss if we dont see Burey again.

Also the Burey update has gone very very silent - considering he was due back to us about now.

The most ive seen from Chandy is a cameo appearance on one of the lads social media posts when they where all out on the drink (xmas party am guessing) up in the Toon. Nothing from him since

Aye he isn't a Mark Simpson that's for sure.
There might be method in the clubs madness. Tell the fans as little as possible and they'll make news up. The club then get the fans making suggestions which, if any good, they can then adopt.
Not daft this Raj fella thaa naaaas.

Not beyond the bounds of possibility that Chandy is a Covid victim ?

There's been nothing in any news media about Tyler Burey since The Sun's 'hippy crack' scoop. It was said then that Millwall would carry out an internal investigation so presumably the ball's still in their court. Depends how they decide to discipline him.

I just had a listen to the Fail's Poolie Podcast, which was a news free zone for 13 wasted minutes. Their only actual news is that Dom Scurr is now covering Newcastle United for them, so he's back on Tyneside where he always wanted to be.

Welcome back Tyler!

And allegedly McPake is going to Tranmere.

So Burey is back but sounds as though most likely for two games. Its not like their manager said "Well he's been injured for most of his loan so we'll probably allow him to stay till Easter.".

Realistically is there any point in coming back for two games, I think not.
I’d welcome his return for the rest of the season .....or Easter even, but a couple of weeks seems a bit like an exercise in fulfilling a loan contract and little else.

the cynic in me tends to agree. all we can do is just hope the contract can be extended and he,s not going to a more local div.2 club.

Luck would have it he ends up at another L2 side whom we play at the end of the season in dire need for 3 points - guess who scores the injury time winner...

McPake looks likely to Tranmere aii - Hope Mr Turnbull is working his magic and bringing us some top talent

Rowett is keeping his options open and that means all of them, which is only to be expected.
One of the options could be that a step up to league one is possible.
We will have to wait and see how it pans out but the fact that he is coming back just for two games, in which he may just have a cameo, is promising for me. Like Snowy says it would appear to be a contract fulfilling exercise, so I am hopeful it's an extension.

Probobly more chance of him ending up at Stockport than us. Two games no point at all, the lads not even match fit.

I think that by being sent back up to Pools which, on the face of it does seem pointless, it shows that Rowett is at least considering an extension, otherwise he could just tell us the lad needs further treatment and isn't ready yet so won't be returning. That's why I remain hopeful and will stay that way until Millwall tell us otherwise.

Quote from Rowett in todays South London Press
“We’ve also got the chance of bringing some young players back [from their loan spells] – the likes of Tyler Burey, Tanto [Isaac Olaofe] and Hayden [Muller]. Whether we do that or not is down to internal conversations.

Hopefully Tyler has liked his time up here and banging goals in at this level - should he be given the chance to come back i hope he says yes and we get him back for the rest of the season. Although not as straight forwards as that im sure.

"Internal conversations". WTF. Is Rowett hearing voices?

.
Why do people have to speak in bullshit nowadays, sounds like he’s stuck his head up someone’s arse and had a chat with their internal organs........just say “we’ve discussed the situation”.
