I did the TV equivalent of walking out with ten minutes to go so can't comment on the second goal. Mind you, it's absolutely freezing round here (Staffordshire) so I wouldn't blame them for wanting to get off the pitch shariah.

It’s not good at all. They appear to have put their arms up in surrender, this can’t go on any longer, I just don’t see them getting out of the nosedive they’re in.

We've played (and lost to) 5th, 4th, 1st, 9th and 8th in the last 5 league games. Before that we beat 7th.
I know we haven't been any good but that's a tough run.

I understand where your coming from and maybe i,m looking through rose tinted glasses.
But looking at the 2 away games this week, I think we created enough today and midweek to at least draw these games.

But the defending has been woeful, especially from old heads at the back and Killip although making 2 bread and butter saves today, the rest of his game was dross.

I hoped we might get a draw today. Port Vale were no great shakes either but they didn't have to be.

Yes, recent opponents have all been tough but what's happening (and not happening) on the pitch is starting to feel like a real downward spiral.

I hope we've had a new manager in long enough to start to make an impact before we play Rochdale a week on Tuesday. If Pools can't get straight back to 'Fortress Vic' at home to the likes of Rochdale and Scunthorpe we'll be in a relegation fight by Christmas.

Today was worrying. There seemed to be a lack of desire as well as skill against a fairly average team.

We got a poor team.
Just got to plod on till January.
And hope Raj brings the right manager in.
