I know its always fun to speculate but I must admit I cant get that excited about The Cup because we have to win away at a team 4th top of League One to play whoever comes out of the hat tonight. As you know we are not too clever away from the Vic.

This Dagenham & Redbridge v Salford game is terrible. Good early goal by the city, but that's been all.

Game halted due to a supposed medical emergency in the crowd, hope everything is okay.
Thankfully the game has quickly re-started, so maybe it was an injury rather than someone collapsing.

Yeah I'm going to bed, not risking my sleep pattern just to find out we're away to Colchester.

I bet you are but just to dampen it a bit you can buy me a pre match pint to make up for all the grief you've caused me lately......or maybe two.

so did i. bored with the game that was on so taking the dog tound the block was a better option. why on earth did they move the draw from 7pm is beyond me or is it a case of there are more like me nowadays who have very little interest in the competition. once pools are out thats about the end of it for me.

It's been a dire FA Cup for the neutral. It speaks volumes the only real "giant killing" has been St Albans defeating Forest Green. And how are Albans rewarded? A trip to Boreham Wood. Its like escaping Kolditz only to get sent to Guantamo Bay. Some horrible TV game choices as well.

I didn't see the draw, but like usual heard it was an utter shambles with Z list celebs rambling and messing it up.

Won't be long before even lower league sides lose interest in it. Although I admit Lincoln is a decent enough away trip if we win at Adams park

mind you its not a million miles between st.albans and boreham wood. it could have been far worse as they could have been drawn away to altrincham or gateshead that would put a big hole in what they made out of the competition in travelling.

It's virtually a local derby, so it should attract a big crowd, especially with a place in the third round as the prize. Dreams of Old Trafford, Anfield et al. I don't think fans of either side will be upset at that draw as both will fancy their chances. That is the minnow's holy grail of the FA Cup, the prospect of a third round tie at a big club. Both chairmen will be licking their lips.
Good luck to all concerned.

It’s not the dog in the fight, it’s the fight in the dog.
I can vouch for that

They were obviously hoping to sucker more people into watching Daggers v Salford. Terrible game, dull as ditchwater summarisers- I switched it off before half time, came back at 10 for the draw itself and was treated to their dreary post-match analysis, two commercial breaks and finally the personality-free zone of the draw itself.

ITV haven't got a fucking clue.

That draw was dire, a personality free zone, it looked like three people had won a competition to do the draw..... tedious.
