I love stockpot. Chicken makes a lovely gravy. Hot water and cornflour to thicken. It’s just far superior to Bisto. Even Bisto best.

I’ve been to Stockport a few times too. It’s not really the jewel of the north west I have to say. you go there if you have to. DC doesn’t have to go there. We’ll see.

Stockport’s just a Manchester suburb, a large housing estate with a viaduct from what I’ve seen. I understand they worship the viaduct as a form of primitive religion, a sort of industrial Stonehenge with graffiti.

they really make a big thing about not being in manchester but revel in the title of being pride of cheshire. just a typical large northern town really with a town centre bigger but with as much character has the middleton grange. just the usual 60,s crap.

Not bitter sweetheart just fucked off that you pricks come on our forum giving it the bollix because you have a sugar daddy owner and have come to rub it in about taking him off us, fair play if he goes money talks in this game we can replace him, we are actually a big club with position within League football to justify it ! refred Then adding your utter shit crack about us being a Brexit town and full of inbred. Absolute howling the fact you have taken your time away from actually trying to fuck your cousin and coming on here to give us grief. Mate im no where near 50 and certainly aint sat in no spare room. Again absolute abysmal crack from some uneducated teen whos probably dripping in fake stone island and hasn't got a penny to scratch his ass. Dont give us that shite that we are a shithole of a town. Stockports credentials hardly stack up for it to be a pleasant place. Pretty sure there will be more people on the dole there than in Hartlepool thats for sure ! refred

On a tourist site about Stockport it said.....

People ask, has Stockport got a beach?....

Pebble Beach is the most famous of Stockports beaches, due to its size, open space and views over the weir..etc, etc, etc.

Where do we start.
A few stones and assorted boulders on a river bank are not a beach.
Beaches don’t have weirs.
Where is Pebble Beach ‘famous’, in Stockport?
Does the tide come up to cover the ‘beach’ .
What sort of idiot would ask the question ‘has Stockport got a beach’ when it’s many miles away from the sea.

If you ever want experience a real beach we’ve got them on three sides, have a look next time you play up here...oh that could be a problem.....but you’ll always receive a very warm welcome at the Fish Sands ...mes ‘Amis’.

Stockport is the official arsehole of Europe and in the arsehole of Europe, as you would expect, you will find an arsehole of a NON LEAGUE football club, with a bunch of arseholes as fans. No surprises there then.
IF DC wants to go there then it says more about him than it does about us.
IF Stockport have not been given permission to approach him and have already illegally made him an offer then the football authorities need to come down hard on them.
I am waiting for DC to make a statement to the Pools fans who have backed him unreservedly, elevated him to cult status and would give him the freedom of Hartlepool at the drop of a hat.
To the genuine Stockport fans I would say this. IF he leaves us in the pursuit of further fame and fortune and IF he achieves what you all want, bigger wolves than you will come a calling. Of that there is no doubt. IF that happens we will sit smugly acknowledging our satisfaction. IF it doesn't happen we will sit equally as smugly laughing our dicks off safe in the knowledge that you and your manager aren't as big or as good as you think you are.
To Raj our Chairman I would say.
I know you will react to this episode in a manner that epitomises the fact that you are only interested in achieving what you consider to be in the best interests of Pools and will do all in your power to facilitate that. I am behind you every step of the way and I suspect thousands of like minded Poolies will take a similar stance Good on you.

The part that disappoints me is I thought he was genuinely one of us, not just a manager but seemed to be part of the fabric of the club and on a journey with us as he livened the whole place up and generated optimism for the clubs future. We responded.
Then the whole thing collapses like a pyramid of cheap cards.

My only counter to that Snowy is that DC himself was very vocal in regards to how offensive the first offer was that he received from Raj. That can’t be forgotten easily. However he’s handled this, you’d argue we haven’t made it entirely straight forward for the bloke either.

In the same way we knew DC would eventually leave… what’s the odds on Sterry being off this Jan?

THIS ....

My feelings exactly mate ! I sat and rambled to the wife last night like some heartbroken teen. Obviously she wasnt assed but even from a neutral point of view her report on the matter was a simple but very true statement... " thats a bit shit isnt it, feel like hes cheated on you with someone you dislike in the class a few years below confised "

My next statement i was due to bring up, if DC does in fact leave us....

Sterry will most likely end up at Stockport on Maddens wages. Holohan might even end up there too... Tom Crawford will also follow him like some lost puppy and never get a game stpid sctatchinghead

I’d guess there’s already been discussions to some degree around this.

Holohan an absolute shoe in though given his contract situation. You just know Sterry will be the headline signing on ridiculous wages come Jan.

yep - although they do have MSH who is very similar to Sterry. If they can send Croasdale our way and MSH / plus 1 mill then Sterry can leave.

Even before this Stockport episode I was sure that big decisions will be made over Sterry in January.
I expect far bigger and higher clubs than Stockport will be tracking Jamie.
He is hot property who can do a lot better that the national league and his agent will be beavering away to make that happen.

Isn't it possible for Stockport to bid for Sterry now as they are not under transfer window rules. Haven't they just signed Bolton's captain??
