All look difficult, Salford (A), Bradford (A), Harrogate (H) and Leyton Orient (A).

Bradford are unbeaten at home, Salford and Orient have lost just the once on home turf, Harrogate have lost only once on their travels.

If somebody offered me 5 points return from those 4 games I'd take that now tbh.

If we were to take more of course I'd be well chuffed

pools are bound to get a shock away victory sometime during the season. this could possibly be the time. noy losing at home to the waitrose eaters is equally important.

Bradford may well be unbeaten at home, but that has to end sometime, not that I’m saying we will do it, but..... you never know. I just go by the mantra that you take every game as it comes and NEVER big the opposition up, if they were that good they wouldn’t be playing in our league. I think DC’s methods will eventually pay dividends as he starts to mould them into his ways.

team A has the best home recotd in the league. team B has the worst away record. they play each other and how many times has team B won these games. a lot of times. a split second or a fraction of an inch one way or the other can determine many results.

We play 5 of the top 6 by November 27th, a shock 3 points away at a Salford or Bradford would certainly be a huge boost.

Equally teams are now fearing playing their away games at the Mighty Vic. We have installed that fear factor which really does make the difference. Playing all our home games this season under covid restrictions i feel wouldnt have benefited us in any way ! Salford and Bradford should see a half decent away following from us - im hoping to be at Salford game this weekend. I feel we will break someones duck and give them a hiding in their own back yard. The spirit in which we showed that second half on saturday we are capable of beating any team in this league without a doubt. Northampton where no push over and looked very good.

take every game as it comes - lets get rid of the away stigma and no better place than Salford. We have had the much better start to the season than them. Im predicting our first away win this weekend (ive had the last 3 home game scores correct too) good feelings all around for this one UTFP !

Three in the bag so far and hopefully more tomorrow.

Fair play to Simon Weaver for these comments about the game:

I'm looking forward to it too. Just wish Harrogate's football was as easy to laugh at as their lack of fans.

Expected us to get little from Bradford, and nothing from Harrogate. Will probably win at Orient to be fair.

Orient for me is a win after Saturday - should the formation be kept. DC is king !

To get nine points from those four games was an extremely big ask but now it is a distinct possibility'
To be honest I'm over the moon with the six we've got.
As for the shape and formation for the Orient game, I'll leave it up to DC but the current formation appeals to my attack minded preferences. He did revert to three at the back during the game on Saturday and that seemed to nullify Harrogate's attacking threat. Having Liddle back is massive, as is keeping him fit. Plus we have the prospect of a returning Burey.
DC will have done his usual homework and meticulous preparation for next Saturday so I'm happy with that.
Matty Daly is growing with every game and he promises to become a really useful player. Good on the ball and an eye for a goal, just what is required.
Another three points please. TA.

4 home games in November should be lucrative for the club.

Anything is possible. With the manager and team we have in place and our support which is second to none in this division we are in with a shout.

If we started scoring more regularly and picking up points away from home then who knows what we can achieve.

6 in 2 games is pretty regular... and completely unexpected! Like most Poolies I'd pretty much given up on the idea that Cullen was going to be a goal machine after waiting so long to see him play. Some fans singing "Super Mark" is a bit premature, but it'd be great if he can keep it going.

I thought Dave Challinor was bang on about Matty Daly in his post-match interview. The lad has loads of potential but had a bit of a stinker in the first half - got caught in possession loads of times and one of them led directly to Harrogate's first goal. Great winner though.

Daly for me has grown into the squad and got better each week, hes a young lad playing at this level where unfortunately silly mistakes are still more than likely to happen. Should he continue getting better and popping up with the odd goal then a certain other Loanee might just well be forgotten about this season. Glad we have him for the season thats for sure. Burey should be made available to us for the rest of the season given the injury circumstance. There is right people at the club now in correct positions to make this happen. As for Raj comments about Jan signings then again be interesting to see if any of the new backroom staff have any pull with teams higher up the leagues. Also credit due to our new No.2, i like the look of his involvement from the touchline and clearly going by the last 2 games his involvement has helped the team.

Whilst promotion to League 1 might seem great, I would prefer to have a couple of good seasons in League 2 getting into the playoffs with regular gates of 5500-6500 before 'sticking our heads above the parapit'. A poor season in L1 would see attendances fall away as they inevitably do when teams are not successful. The club need to be in solid financial state before taking on stronger opposition.

To be fair he was put under needless pressure by Mitchell throwing the ball to him when there was about 3 Harrogate lads right on his arse. Keeper should've just booted it downfield if he wasn't sure who to go for!

Regarding Burey, he's a good player but the way things are looking up top, with Mols looking better and better every week and Cullen looking a goal threat he might not get in the side. Personally I hope that is the case as we can't rely on too many loan players, plus Millwall might just recall him anyway.

If Burey returns and hits same form he did before injury then no doubt Millwall may well look to use him themselves and an extension will not be on the cards. Other than that Motherwell will come in for him and he goes onto have a blinder of a season in the Scottish Pish league. Almost convinced the Motherwell scouts venture no further than Hartlepool on their missions to seek recruits.

did not expect cullen to be anymore than a sub in the 80th odd minutes of the game. daly has gone from mr.invisable to a must be picked player. is only fault is being caught in posession which happened prior to the harrogate game as well. mols looks the player he was when he first arrived so its all something to make us feel more confident.

Mols is turning into the Oates of last season (albeit few goals shy of Oates' return but ill let him off based on the higher standard etc). DC is a wizard. Cullen aslong as he stays fit will be crucial to our season now.
